Anyone ever whip up a discconnecting sway bar? I am thinking something up as a manual disconnect bt still a disconnect. I am working to try and keep my roll over problems under controll at speed.

Awesome. Thanks a ton. I did a search for sway bars and did not come back with much. I am thinking of doing something similar but using hood pins to mount it to the chassis so I can remove it fast. I am also thinking this might help illuminate some suspension induced front movement as well.

Did you just mount a sway bar in the rear or did you you put one in the front as well?

didn't do the front.

What are you using in the center section as the torsion spring?

The bar is made from a 4mm threaded rod. I put a nut on the inside the the arms and a locking wheel nut on the out side. I held the inner nut with some needle nose just a little lose from the Green tube right out side the frame. Then I lock down the locking nut on the outter. This compress the arm so all the movement comes from the small tube. I want to be able to dis-attach when crawlin. It's working pretty well. I think

JB-Weld or lock tight the inner nut to the 4mm shaft. As that will never need to be loose
