Ordered several times twice i had back orders they called me the same day and let me know and took care of the problems plus Jake helped me at the rojo comp took time to help me i was thankful for that..

When the XR10 hit, no one could get a punk dig.

King Bling Pm'ed me (dirty lil capitalist he is) that he would be gettin some.

I called the next day, kinda had to twist the guys arm, but he let me pay for the dig before they had it.


I did not receive an email confirmation or shipping notification.

but I got my Dig the same day the were available on their site.

I though it was pretty cool.

I've always had a good experience when ordering from them. I forgot an item in my order and had no problem getting customer service to add that item to my order before they shipped everything else.

Two heartaches with them:

1. I don't like their restocking fee. I can see having to pay a little something if the item is new, but out of the package. But, if I am sending something that is still in the package to them I don't see a need for the fee.

2. I stopped in their shop about a year ago while I was in the area (near where I grew up), the people working there weren't friendly at all. I'm not saying that I expected a cup of coffee and a handshake, but they responded to by questions in grunts and clicks once they realized I wasn't there to drop big money.

With that said, I have ordered from them a couple of times and I always got what I paid for.

I have placed only 1 order from them,it was a soldering station.
It was priced lower than other vendors,I paid for priority shipping,I recieved it in 5 days(including a sat/sun) The soldering iron was busted though,there is a threaded plastic ring that was cracked,but I see that as no fault if ckrc.

I would not myself hesitate to deal with them in the future.I do have friends that still hold a grudge over worlds,stuff like that just leaves a bad tast sometimes.And I do think giveaway winners are best anounced in the same thread.But hell,it aint my giveaway.

My first order with them ($600+) took over three weeks to receive via their free shipping option.

My next and last order with them included the infamous 1500mah battery. When I emailed them about it actually being a 1300, they said they were working to resolve the issue. The only resolution I saw was they changed the listing on their website.

I've only made one purchase from CRCK.

Bought two of the infamous 1500mah battery's only to find them to be 1300mah mystery lipo batteries repackaged with their name on them.
Called the shop, and was told they are not going to replace or refund sh1t.

Fawk um! I'll never spend a dime with them again.

Did they ever make any berg parts that where actually 300M? Just saying......:lmao:

Ordered two bodies for my crawlers last friday hoping to have them in time for the comp this weekend, payed extra for fast shipping. They notified me Tuesday that they had sole out of them over the holidays and just forgot to list it on the site that they where out of them. CKRC FTW

Here's how they got me:

The product I bought and got screwed on were Lipo batteries that CKRC sold as 1500mah 3s packs. I bought 4 packs, and after 3 cycles, 2 of the batteries each lost a cell (had them less than 2 weeks). I balance charge my batteries at 1C with a Hyperion charger and I never setup my lipo cutoffs to anything under 3.3v per cell. At first sign of it going into cutoff, or the crawler losing power, I always pull the pack. I don't take a chance with lipos.

I sent multiple emails and PMs asking for help with this. After a couple weeks and not a single responce, I called the number on the site. I was polite and simply explained what happened to the batteries. Before I had a chance to even ask for replacement, refund, anything, the guy on accused me of abusing the battery and basically gave me a "What do you expect me to do about it?" and hung up on me.

Later, I found out that the batteries were really 1300mah batteries that they were selling as 1500's. They had a ton of problems with them, but refused to do anything for their customers.

I have recoverd them every time by pluging it into the blinky balancer and charging it on a nimh charger on the lowest setting long enough to light up both lights then straight to the lipo charger. worked for me every time ive done it at least 30 times.

Trust me. This is not my first rodeo. One cell was dead on each battery. The batteries were 1300mah, but sold as 1500mah. Charging them at 1.5amp killed them. 0v on the cell within 3 cycles. Would not recover...Period.

Oh, and I don't use rooster crawlers, so not the problem. BTW, the vehicle will usually exhibit signs of slowing down before you get close to the cutoff. At first sign of it, I pull the battery...whether into cutoff or not. I also run a fresh battery for every course in competition...hence why I bought 4 batteries.

I had no dramas with the order that I placed. Thank god as it was in excess of $500 and coming to Australia.

Another guy on an Aussie forum ordered an AX-10 and they sent him an SCX-10 and a whole lot of head aches instead.

I bought my first initial crawler purchase from them. Truck, radio, batteries, charger all online. i called them with some questions before hand and had nothing but good results. I am within 30 miles of their shop and didnt want to wait for shipping.... being excited. I called them back and arranged to pick it up at the shop. Ive since been in for some misc parts and again was treated good.

Ordered from them a couple of times..Called and talked to Jake and he said that these shocks were perfect for what I needed. When I got them they were WAY to long for what I wanted for my scaler..I called back and talked to another guy he said send them back and we wil send these other shocks...no restock fee...got the shocks and they were only half there, no springs and only 3 shafts..I called and talked to Jake..Oddly enough he remembered me and said he was sorry and shipped out the correct shocks, said he would personally package them and to keep the shocks that they sent me the second time...I said cool, and then offered to pay for shipping..he said no that it was on them...I then bought a battery from them..the 1500 "bastard", in 3S version..he said not to worry about shipping he would toss it in with the shocks...well, what would you know...the shocks arrived and so did the battery....and some stickers...later on I found that the battery was only a 1300...that's ok..I killed the battery with my MM and the 5700kV motor in my slash..........


and yes, they are on the list when I want to purchase stuff, if they are low I would buy from them again in a heart beat.

They were not unfounded. And I dont go into their give away threads and bash company who is giving things away.

I don't know your story, I really dont even care. I just thinks its funny you are such a douchebag. You put up a thread and had 90% positive feedback. Like your going to save everyone on this board from the evil that is CKRC. If they were snatching children to work in a sweat shop it would be one thing (who are we kidding they are not Walmart) , but I am sure you blew whatever your pathetic story is way out of proportion. BTW, this thread was staying pretty well on topic with people both representing positive and negative experiences with a particular vendor until you showed up and shit on it.
