Looks nice!
Thanks

"thumbsup"

I like seeing how you build the styrene up....this pic gives me more info on the process of "shaping" the styrene....looks good so far.
Thanks. There are probably smarter methods, but this was all I could think of.

Cool build!

..... It looks happy!:ror:
It may be happy, but I'm not!

HA it really does.:lmao:

This should be good, I love the D90 with the bed."thumbsup"
I like these more than the station wagon version, plus there aren't a ton of these around on here either.

looking good. i'm a huge fan of rovers, especially the defenders.
Thanks

What wheels are you using to get the tires inside of the fender with AX-10 axles?
SDI -3 wheels

Dibbbs !!!! Straight up mine when it's done Rich....ok?
You got it. You still want dibs on the fj55 too?

This is what I accomplished today. As you can see I also worked on the roof and rear window.

looking good! I think the laminated profile for creating the roof curves works much better than trying to bend the styrene, plus it will give it strength. I don't recall seeing anyone else do an opening hood. I'm waiting for the damn cast 'Yota axles to become available so I can dust off my D90 and get some work done on it.

Thank tube work is dead sexy! Nice truck!"thumbsup"
Thanks!

Thank you. For the majority of the roof I scored styrene and bent it. It starts to curve on it's own, that's when you know the score marks are deep enough. And then for the corners that's where I laminated it and carved it out.
I'm not sure if I'm going to put hinges on the hood or just have it completely removable. The latter of the two would make it much easier.
I can't wait for those cast axles to become readily available either, I'd like to get a few (20) sets. :ror:

Nice landy pickup conversion NOOB, but wait,it aint a toyota!
Thanks. I know, this is unexplored territory for me. :ror: Don't worry, there are three Toyotas in line after this.

Looks good. I'm liking the cage work you've fort on there.

Sent from my HTC EVO
Thank you. By any chance, was that sent from your HTC EVO?
