KC's C2/G6 TJ BUILD...

ok so yest i went to a spot to do some more testing... actually was jus playing with it lol... any who it took a 15-20 ft fall off a cliff. was worried it was goin in the ocean but didn thankfullly. the end result was a destroyed front bumper and a banana shaped rear lower link.. im almost glad it happened b/c it gave me a reason to make a few changes that i knew needed to be made
1- stonger front bumper base plate so that it would be more durable and be able to house a winch. old one was a lil tight.
2- shape the fender tubes more like the 1:1 the 1;1 has the hood trimmed so i did that and made the downward bend b4 the stinger...

also made the rear shock hoops super basic but this is my first rig brazing on..
lemme know what you think! good or bad"thumbsup"

Looks hell of a lot better man. Joints actually look, well, like they should! Gotta get a can of oven cleaner though so you can get rid of all that black and green anodized stuff.

For those who don't know what this rig is supposed to look like, here's the reference shots. KC is doing a pretty bang up job copying it.

The new improvements look great. Really like that leaf setup and the brazing looks good for your first time. For a 15-20ft fall id say the rig held up great.

Your driver looks like....uhhh....nevermind, nothing positive to add. But the shocks look good. Did you sand them or use oven cleaner?

Looks good! I would have about s@#t my pants if my rig took a fall like that!! At least it didn't go for a swim. Your brazing is looking better and better as you do more. Can't wait to see it at Pill Box!! "thumbsup"
