Afraid so, kids! After running my overweight pigs back to back with the stock Axial rigs at the MSD Nats, I came to the conclusion that Axial makes a more capable rig than I do. So if ya can't beat'em join 'em.

There will be a few mods, but not much in the way of heavy fabrication. Gonna keep it lightweight and as stock as I can stand. Even running a Lexan body :shock:

Started with a new Honcho kit, Pro-Line Comanche body (2-piece) and some upgrade parts. I'll try to make this build interesting :lol:

Axles are built, OD gears and CVD's in front, with a Hand Brothers CMS kit and a Dinky Link in the rear. I'll use the RC4WD Boggers I won in the raffle and come CAC Delrin wheels.

Seems I killed the camera battery at MSD, so pics later. There's nothing going on you haven't seen before anyway.

Nothing beats a light rig man. I was placing top 3 consistently in our club Comps with a faily stock Honcho. I added tube work and a ton of goodies and although it looks great, it doesn't perform as good as when it was stockish!

Don't know if this idea is taken yet or not. I'm either inventing it or stealing it:

I've met the Hand brothers and they're both super cool guys, so I have no problem using and recommending their stuff. Especially since it works. Got this battery tray at the Nats giveaway, but I don't remember who made it.

Wheel & tire package. The new Boggers are X3 so they should hook up real nice. Foams are still to be determined.

I thought I mentioned the HG Still catching up on my sleep after 36 hours on the road.

Got the front axle hung, working on making it a roller. Still undecided whether to install dig and run it in C3 or not.

I'll steal most of it out of the wrecked truggy, which means a 3S 2200 (already installed on the battery plate) and a fairly fresh Integy 35t with a Sidewinder.

It's a runner! Sidewinder, Mamba, receiver and BEC all crammed into a Futaba servo box.

Big 5/16 bumper slots into the stock frame mount after a little trimming. It sticks out a little, but not as bad as the Honcho bumper. That's pretty much it for the fabrication.
