Initial run around the living room before packing up and hitting the road was butter smooth. Installed a new 5x10 bearing in the upper link mount and was good to go. It was a bitch to get the little bearing adapter out though!!

In reality I did contemplate just leaving it off. Just didn't think too long since I was rushing out the door.

So it looks like the extra weight back there won't be a problem since most guys were adding 1-2oz total on the lockouts.

Well I ran the truck again yesterday, still haven't got the gears to skip at all. I really think it was the final part that I NEEDED for the truck. Hopefully if I find the next weak point it will be something that I can change easily :shock:
I have another comp this coming weekend and I am sure it will make me grin just as big as it did last weekend.
The VP guys already knew about the one thing I noticed on it so there are NO changes that need to be made. It's time to turn big blocks of aluminum into fancy pieces of bling! :mrgreen:

Yes I am running the Axials. The gears would slip in a really bad bind due to the transfer gear being able to deflect the case enough to skip on the final gear. Not a gear issue but a case issue.
I'll try and get the rig on a scale soon.
