Harley's XR10 #AX50062

Leaving for Omaha tonight to hit the NSCA comp in the morning. I'll get the new axle top installed and tested then. Can't freaking wait!!

P.S. - ooohhhhh yeahhhhh! 1000th build thread post. New record for me

He meant it's his 100th post of actual tech:flipoff:

And nice way to add another page to his thread in a single post. Lol

But seriously, Harley is too spoiled.

Can you get a weight on that rear upper case half before you put it on? I am just wondering if it will allow me to lose some lockout weight.
Thanks,

Installed!

Now I'm on the road to Omaha. I have a few more pics to post.

That's the way I see it :D

So it looks like the extra weight back there won't be a problem since most guys were adding 1-2oz total on the lockouts.

Well I ran the truck again yesterday, still haven't got the gears to skip at all. I really think it was the final part that I NEEDED for the truck. Hopefully if I find the next weak point it will be something that I can change easily

I have another comp this coming weekend and I am sure it will make me grin just as big as it did last weekend.

The VP guys already knew about the one thing I noticed on it so there are NO changes that need to be made. It's time to turn big blocks of aluminum into fancy pieces of bling!

Now with the axle tops, I guess you have this thing virtually bomb proof. Are you planning on throwing that grenade in your avatar at it?

With all that aluminium, I am interested to see how much your rig weighs now RTR.

I need to do 2 things before I can "look cool."

1) Grow a beard
2) Make all my rigs orange

Correction...you need to grow an ORANGE beard. Just a beards not enough...trust me...I tried. Still not looking cool. Although the little homies call me Coolo & that's Spanish for "cool white guy"....right?
