I did get a chance to read some posts before they got removed. I know, I do look kinda foolish in my position here. I just wanted to make sure this guy doesn't get ripped off. It sounds like he will be happy enough with the trade if he gets what the kid said he was going to send him. Once again, I told him to post here, cause you guys are tired of hearing about it second hand. I kinda got myself in the middle, just trying to be the guy to help recover stolen goods. Perhaps I should have just kept out, but I want to help anyone if I can. As far as calling the authorities, I was also leaving that part up to him. If he feels he wants to go that route, so be it. I cannot file a report on him for ripping someone else off. As far as his deals with me that went south, I have wrote those off.

I just don't want to have my name tarnished over trying to mediate this situation between the two of them. I had the means to physically get his wraith back for him, and not too many people get the chance to have someone with the ability to do so. Yeah, we did commmunicate, but he made it clear that he did not want to post until he received the second shipment. It still has not arrived, so I doubt you will hear from him till then. I wasn't going to post in his name on here, cause I do not know everything that him and the kid had talked about. Anything I said, was directly from AJCloud.

Just look at the fact that complete strangers go so far out of their way to help another, even across the country from eachother. This is a tight-knit group, for how world wide it is"thumbsup" I hope someone else would do the same for me if they were able to.

Nope. People were thinking I was keeping info hidden or not doing anything about the problem. Thinking I am just saying shit about this kid to stir the pot. That is not the case and that is not the kind of person I am. If he ends up being happy with the deal, I am not going to make an issue with the kid over it. Not my problem. I didn't want people thinking I only do the talkin part, and not the action end of it. Believe me, the minute he gives me word to go get the thing back because of the deal not being made fair, I will have a thread within a couple hours with a picture of his wraith in my hands. He better hurry up and decide though, cause the kid is trying to either part it out or get rid of it already:shock:
 
phillbilly you are doing the right thing here and I do know first hand that this kid is a scam , flake and rips people off .yes he is trying to get ride of it he tried trading me. he has also started a new screen name on one of our local forums. He listed parts off the wraith and a motor that he was going to get from me before he even would have gotten it. when I called him out on his new screen name he said oh thats not me but he told me he was trading or selling everything he had on the forsale post including prices. when I went back on there that forsale thread was deleted HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
 
this kid is a liar and a thief, on page 2 he says it wasnt him and he didnt trade with ajcloud and on page 5 he said it was him and he did send what he traded for. this little prick also tried to trade me the Wraith for my truck, when i told him i had shipped he gave every exuse why he couldnt, and then lied and said he never traded for a Wraith (which we know he did) luckily i seen this thread and didnt ship but i did contact ajcloud and the mods to let them know about the little thief.
 
I'm gonna go out on a limb here.

I'm surprised the mods have let this thread continue. First off, it starts off trying to verify a questionable member's identity, which was pretty much verified early on, then heads into some dirty dealings with said person.

The problem is, the person who supposedly got ripped off does not post about it even though they are a member of the community. You end up with everyone as a whole "wanting to kick this minor's ass" (paraphrased) in various ways after nothing but secondhand accounts of what may or may not have happened.

The fact that the ripped-off individual doesn't post is concerning, even though I don't think PHILLBILLY really intended any harm AND it does seem the kid has some shady dealings.

I've had a couple dealings in the classifieds, and I guess I've been lucky to have good experiences and I feel bad for those who haven't. This Samurai clown sounds like a douche and someone to be avoided - that has been established.

But this thread really has just come down to various means to beat this underage kid up, egg his house, etc... by adults using secondhand information. Where is AJCloud in this mess?

I'm surprised this thread is not flushed away or locked by the mods.
 
No one wants to protect the image of a scammer, 15 years old or not. I think it is safe to say that all of the "threatening" comments are just hot air, I wouldnt worry about it.

The fact that their arent more threads like this is a testament to the RCC community. I have bought and sold a bunch of stuff here and have yet to have an issue of any kind, dont let one bad apple ruin your trust in the members here.

I have and will not do a trade for anything as expensive as a complete truck, just doesnt seem worth it.
