2 day Trail event for scalers in Marseilles, IL

Your class 3s are likely more worthy! Yes I'm collecting parts for it. I'm going to Indy this weekend so I won't have much wrench time.

Zoomzoom.

I'm pulling for RHR and Newgarden; even if I dislike both Andretti Motorsports and Sarah Fisher. I'd say Rahal too, but I'm just not sure how good Graham is (or Macro for that matter).

I've always wanted to do Indy, I'm so jealous. I'd also like to head to Austin and see F1 this November. There are few cars sexier in the world than a Ferrari or Mclaren-Mercedes F1.

Yeah I know not the right place for chit chat but... They say I have ADD and ohh look a chicken.. and I try to focus.. Ever wonder why a Ferrari only looks right if it's read.. and some days are better than others:roll:

I'm hoping to go next week but not sure about the camping. Meeting at the entrance to cliffs at noon?

I think people may be there a bit earlier. We need to be at the campground before noon to make sure we get spots... so at least those of us camping are going to leave for a bit before noon and go grab camping spots.

how long did it take you guys last weekend? Jason, from the city?

I think we're meeting at the Cliffs in the morning, going for a run and then get to the Tavern just before noon to set up camp, eat lunch and maybe charge some lipo's.

Trey, you said the Toyota has a power outlet? Could we hook up like a computer power strip and run multiple chargers?

it takes me around 1.75 hours give or take. i prolly average 65 mph...

best to get out of the city asap in the morning to make sure you don't get stuck in mega traffic.

Well I made an arrangement with Jeff and I now have a scaler so I'm hoping to make it for sure. Trying to convince the wife to go camping. She wants to know how many ladies are going. What time you guys getting there Saturday?

What's a good 2.2 scale body? I really like the proline 70 ford

For an SCX10? Pretty much any of the proline or hpi monster truck bodies will fit; you may need to adjust the wheelbase somewhat. That being said, none of the HPI monster truck bodies such as the CUDA, El Camino, etc. fit well.

The 70 ford should work fine though!

With the 2.2 tires, you probably will need to cut out some of the wheel arches

Yeah but the truck will have to sit there running while they're charging...which is fine as long as it's not like hours.

My charger has clamps for a car battery.
