You're gonna need a snack too, and since you can never have enough bacon...

Understanding women is easy, it's explaining the importance of Super300HD's to my girlfriend and why she should buy them for me which is the tough part.:)

A man asked his wife what she'd like for her birthday. "I'd love to be eight again." she replied.

On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Coco Pops, and then took her off to the local theme park.

What a day! He put her on every ride in the park:

* the Death Slide,
* the Wall of Fear,
* the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster,
* every thing there was.

Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. Right away, they journeyed to a McDonald's where her loving husband ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate shake.

Then it was off to the movies: the latest Star Wars epic, a hot dog, popcorn, all the Coke she could drink, and her favourite lolly and M&M's. What a fabulous adventure!

Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He leaned over his precious wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well, Dear, what was it like being eight again?"

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed."I meant my dress size, you twit!"

The moral of the story:
"Even when a man is listening, he's gonna get it wrong."

I barely understand what my wife is talking about most of the time. It's like she thinks the topic of the conversation or statement has been mentally transferred to me but what she has to say about it has to come out of her mouth.

Here's some actual conversations that she has approached me with:

Her - "It wasn't what we thought it was going to be."

Me - "What?"

Her - "You know, that thing."

Me - "Wtf are you talking about?"

Another....

Her -"Its not going to be here until Wednesday."

Me - "What?"

Her - "That thing I ordered."

Me - "What thing?"

Her - "The thing I ordered online."

Me - "What thing?"

Her - "You know, the book I ordered."

Me - "No, I don't know."

Her - "Sigh...I told you about it last week!"

One of the classics...

Her - "Hand me that thing." (nods at table full of stuff)

Me - "What thing?"

Her - "That thing right there." (points at the table full of stuff)

Me - "What 'thing' do you want?"

Her - "That thing right there in front!" (nods and points at the table full of stuff)

Me - "What 'thing'? Does it not have a name?"

Her - "Dammit, the glue! Hand me the glue!"

I've had those same conversations. Has yours ever dreamed or thought part of a conversation (but not vocalized any of it), then not understood why you didnt understand what the hell they were talking about? Mine has...
