My crazy family and I have been mostly stocking up on guns & ammo because we're not sure what's going to happen in the near future but, we're assuming that we're going to survive whatever may happen and we're trying to be somewhat preppared. Mostly with guns & ammo but, also coming up with plans and strategies if something were to happen and we were to survive it.

Now, I know a lot of you are much more preppared for this sort of thing and perhaps take it a little more seriously. My thinking is, It's kinda sorta a game at this point.. Ya know, fun to imagine but, want to be ready kinda thing.

Lets hear how your getting ready for when shit hits the fan! Do you have a gameplan? What kind of supplies do you have?

Also, what do you think might happen exactly?

I'm stocking up on lipo's... I plan on getting in one more scale run with my toy truck through the apocalypse. "thumbsup"

I have been hording cases of these for the past few months:

It just doesn't get any better than Strawberry and Grape Nerds!

I was up in the mountains over the weekend, and caught my first episode of Doomsday Preppers. We don't get that channel, so it was interesting to watch.

I'm all for being prepared, but some of the paramilitary-Zombie Apocalypse types worry me as much as a Doomsday scenario does. Some I have seen on TV aren't preparing in case something happens, they are hoping something happens.

I don't try to think of as doomsday prepping, but I am also collecting ammo, making up a couple BoBs and stocking up on simple food. A lot of mine is weather related (hurricanes) but will suffice for other emergencies.

I gave my RV to my BIL and he has it in a pretty well protected area. A couple thousand acres with the RV inside of a metal barn. We have stockpiled non-ethanol gas and water there.

Our BoBs each have a brick of .22 and we each have a .22 Semi Auto pistol we carry. Our packs are MOLLEs and I have a .45 holster on the vest portion of mine and 4 mags. Depending on where and why we are leaving, I have a tactical bag with my M4 and 10 mags. Of course a duffle bag is there too with more .22, .45, .223 and 9mm with room for the rest of my guns. Looking for a cheap source for MREs now. Hoping for some "fell of the truck" type.

Reading through this, I do sound a it like a prepped.

You live pretty far from the coast, I wouldnt expect anything but a power outage up there....maybe a little wind and rain.....certainly no reason to leave your home. "thumbsup"

Since Dec.21st is going to bring the same result as the year 2000 brought, I'm going to prep the same exact way, by not doing a damn thing.

It's kinda weird how much this topic has come up lately. I don't consider myself a prepper like that show but I recently put together a bug out bag. Something is in the air!
