Alot of people think that is what is going to cause the 2012 world ending crap. I was watching a thing about that on discovery. IF that was what was going to cause the end, we would have heard about it a month or two ago. With only 4 days until "DOooooooommmsdaayy" I doubt yellowstone will cause anything :mrgreen:

I don't understand the gold and silver hoarding. If there really is an apocalypse, gold won't be worth anything when it comes to bartering. If you had food, would you sell it to the guy with gold rings, or the guy with ammunition that you need?

True, but it would be the first step towards an established currency. But then again...either of those are really a luxury item if you aren't personally able to put them to any kind of practical use.
