Inside 6sharky9's SCX10 Honcho RTR

I've seen that vid before. What motor/ring, pinion/diff gears are you running?

16/87 on a custom 27T and 2s....not the best vid showing control but its not that easy with one hand driving...I got huge hands..lol

Stock 38/13 front and rear in the vids..I have HD 38/13 front and 43/13 rear going in when my lockers show up

Looked a little jumpy while climbing. I'm sure it wasn't easy one handed. I run the 38/43 in mine but 14/93 on a 35T. Would climb pretty smooth but a little jumpy just off idle. Turned the throttle expo up to 40% and made a big difference!!

All the vids were with the stock radio...Ive got a spectrum hooked up now and still playing with adjustments..Im gonna gear down even more..I have plenty of wheel speed with the 16T..thinking maybe 15 or 14 will tame down the quick response with it...Still did all vids with one hand though..i can control it better using 2.

Those are my first vids ever...Not really anything spectacular but did best I could with one hand and watching to try and keep truck in screen at same time.

Ill have some much better ones soon on some trails and play areas.

I keep getting different numbers with the phone app..now its saying its 60.1 degrees...Can someone that has a real protractor put it up against the pic and confirm what the angle is???

My digital angle gauge says 60.1 as well.

Ok cool..i like that better than 54 the first measurement it read...it seemed off...I found a calibration set up for the phone app..kept getting between 59 and change and just over 60 after the calibration...Close enough. :)
Thanks.

Ill be definitely hoping for more numbers with lateral climbing. :)..90 would be good but one can dream..lol

Mine can easily do that... on a vertical wall, anywhere.

It's called gravity and balance.

In your case...
the rear wheel weight, obviously off the ground, is counter balancing.

So you have only established that you can do parlor tricks :flipoff:

Now put both passenger side tires up on angle...
and see if you can side hill at 45*
^ that might count for something ;-)

full articulation only counts if all the tires have surface contact

I guess it could be considered a swell parlor trick...
considering you don't know what a camera Tri-Pod is :lmao:

All that typing and no proof with vids and pics makes your fingers full of hot air.:flipoff:

I have an over 45 degree side hill in my front yard I frequent most often.
Perhaps a vid of that when the snow goes away will give you a clear understanding of not magic ,but set up knowledge?;-)

By the way... the back tire off the ground or not; my Rubicon cant get near that height in the front or back before it tips over...something has to be working for me"thumbsup"
