John when do we get a 3s capable 600+oz-in all ti gear servo?
Just got through running my servo for the first time, works great except, it makes a noise like it's trying to find center. It sounds like it is twitching left, right, etc. really fast. Not the buzzing noise Futaba digitals make when at rest (I can silence it by lifting the front end) but, a twitching noise.
I am running a BEC set to 7.0v. It is wired like this.
Anyone know if this is acceptable or is something wrong with it?
All my trucks are wired like this and I have no problems with them.
run the bec strait to your servo no y connection needed just run signal to rx"thumbsup" all good...I'm going through the same thing right now trying to figure out the correct way to wire the BEC.From what I've read, you should disconnect the signal wire from the BEC.Other than that,it looks about the same as what I'm planning on doing.
Then again,I could be way off.
This would help Holmes Hobbies LLC but they're out of stock. I got to get some too.
John, I need some rx bypass things but there not instock. Any chance that you could get some more"thumbsup".
Still kind of confused on the signal wire coming from the BEC.
Anyone think that the 'twitching' sound is of no concern? Again, it's not the 'buzzing' noise you get from other digital servos, it sounds like it is actually moving left to right very quickly in very tiny increments.
And I can't get it to stop.
Servo is good except for this issue.
Check for these with, Chris the Battery Man... I believe he makes em.
Edit.. oh, that's were you got the pic from.. lol..
It's different but doubt it's a issue.. mine don't seem horrible and have calmed down after a little run time..
Run it till something happens to it, if anything happens to it..
Yup.
I pulled out a Futaba 3051, put in the new Holmes servo and re-used the horn. Fit pretty much exactly the same.
(it's a Futaba horn, I don't have the p/n right offhand, sorry.)
