Gt3b beep question

I'm feeling quite r-tarded atm. Can someone give me some ideas as to why a gt3b just beeps forever when turned on? I have tried 2 new sets of batteries. Its new, is it possible that its beeping cause there is no rx?. Thanks in advance

I think the answer is alkaline batteries are giving too low of voltage

like liv3mind has said it has a low voltage alarm which is set to either 9.0 or 9.6 volts most people just go for a 3s lipo as it lasts longer than aa`s or if your feeling brave you can fit a voltage regulator i went for the 3s optian on mine

You literally just pull the battery case off, and solder connection of you choice to the wires right?

That being said, Just pop open the batt compartment snip the wires, solder on your connector. Use a 3s (At your own risk without voltage regulator) OR buy the reprogrammer when its available from OverkillRC Losikid. To use 2s batts.
Worth the price for sure!

i used a 3s lipo for yrs without one and then went to a gt3c but i still have the gt3b and it still works like it did but it could be usefull
