Hey PP... you got any recommendations on a budget (ie <$75) record player with a 3.5mm audio output jack?
Nothing fits those requirements that I know of. To get a record player for under ~$75 you'll need to visit a Goodwill store, or get lucky at a garage sale. None will have a 3.5mm out, as that just doesn't happen. The record player will need to be plugged into something that does some stuff (RIAA equalization and amplification) to work right. Cheapest new one is about $300 but still needs the addition equipment. Vinyl cannot be done on the cheap, for the most part. You could go to a Goodwill store, find an old 70s record player and receiver and hope for the best, but I doubt that'd be under $75.
BTW, vinyl is always singular, never plural. "thumbsup"
Try Sennheiser's HD 4xx line up. I went with the $35 419 model and like em enough to recommend them as a cheapie. Smaller than a full size headphone, but still big enough to fit over my ears. Bassy, but not overly. Decent sounding. Good after a while as my brain adjusts to the sound. If you want to spend more, I can assist you with that also. :mrgreen:I'm still searching for a new set as I can't imagine these headphones lasting much longer.
