Rock Crawler
Pre-Axialfest, I was under the impression the YETI was going to be a solid axle, U4 Rock racer that followed the U4RC Rock Racing series, based off a steel original one –off chassis<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

I mean, most of us read the hype, saw the colors and Posts from Axial, Facebook even has Fan pages dedicated to the ....YETI....but the thing I didn't understand was where should the credit be given? I mean this truck isn't even out yet..... {Tower Aug, 2014 release}<o

Yes, Axial is great, their trucks are golden for most of us, and I have zero complaints from their out of the box trucks... (They lasted way longer stock than your Wild Willy back in '88) but the thing is, where the hell did this thing come from? <o

U4RC racing is a hit, the Big Boys are definitely, making moves with the "Beast" …. MIKE the DOC…, a very scale and solidly planted U4 scale tuber, and Mattzilla,… LUE…. the industry standard steel Wraithzilla, chassis, in 3 or more versions, I see these guys, setting the pace for awhile. <o

So, where does the Yeti sit? As for the "Yeti" as a hybrid of the many EXO Buggy's, Ive personally chopped, cut, countersunk and configured…. (without instructions) mounted an EXO Pan and wraith skid and chassis to make an IFS Hybrid 2.2 crawler/rock racer.. {Independent Front Suspension for Dummies} now becomes the production model from Axial.<o

Now, personally where does the credit go? Ive seen them as sooo many versions of these custom hybrids, I have to mention the Godfather, JASON IN AUGUSTA…. (AKA J.I.A) As the founding father, I have to “LIKE” this even if it wasn’t my Post. Huge S/O to J.I.A…….!!!!!!<o

{Like this for the same S/O, even if you’ve ever owned a VTH}<o

Anyhow, History aside I have to give credit where credit is due. Lest we forget where the simple idea cut and hand fabbed out of Hawaiian Hotel room now sparks a whole new RTR?<o

Shoot, noobs aside, Not me!<o

Although, I am a Fan of Axial, I am NOT a fan of anything RTR. So, I gonna build my own my way from scratch no instructions, a few part numbers and some help from Sponsors… (I hate figuring screws the biggest time waster!!) <o
