"The Exocutioner" a Class 3 solid axle Wrexo

Awesome paint work on the Drivers and interior!!

Damn they have some big heads....:ror:

What about taking a dremel to the drivers back, instead of cutting out the seat? I might try that route with mine.

I already did that. It doesn't move them back far enough. You can see it just barely in one of the pics where they're sitting by the cage.

Damn, ok thanks for the heads up. "thumbsup"

I have a picture of my frame setup so far if you want to see it, the two go together quite nicely.

Here is what i have so far, i wanted to keep the exo chassis complete all the way to the spoiler. Just installed a new front bumper. I'm waiting on a few small parts before i can turn it into a roller.

Cant wait to c this finish your work on hardbodys is awesome....i love my wrexo and it serves its purpose cant waith to see how ur gonna lower the rails....subd

I got some interior work done yesterday. The Wraith cage and scale motor also showed up "thumbsup".

So I decided to cut the front half of the seats out so I could move the drivers back some. Then I used adhesive backed foam to create the new seat padding. A few pieces of ribbon and some wire hatpins later I had harnesses.

The rear is looking a little bare, but I'll wait until the rig is together to make anymore changes to the interior pan.

I ordered a set of "Angel eyes" halo LEDs for the front. They have a red ring and a white center LED. The Red rings along with the taillights will be hardwired in with the on/off switch for the ESC while the white LEDs and the VP Light bar will be wired up to the smaller toggle switch on the passenger side of the interior.

Here's the interior sitting in place.

The Ridemakerz Dual overhead cam motor came in this box

That Interior and motor should draw a lot of attention!
I agree.

That is a HUGE box for that motor.Did you have anything else in there?Cant wait to see what you do with the body panels.Stock Exo or custom styrene?
Nope, just that motor inside the box, lol. As for the body it'll be a Exo panel kit with Freqeskinz Hotrod red/black flames.

Interior is looking bad ass! I just got my Driver in, and the pictures dont do justice to the size of these guys gargantuan craniums....lol

Last night was a productive one. I got the Wraith cage chopped up and mounted to the Exo cage.

I changed mine up just a little from what I've seen. I slowly heated up the rear "bumper" piece from the wraith and cut the lower 4 mounts on a angle. This left the lower pieces more horizontal and gave the rear end a little more curve. I'll make a panel from clear lexan later on that follows the curve.

Next I mounted the Vanquish CMS and panhard bracket along with the Hitec servo.

Here's the engine that'll be residing in the rear end. I plan on detailing it out to give it a much more realistic look.

Should go a little something like this only flat.

Looks really good! Did you gain much weight with this conversion?
Also I know that the motor is just sitting there, but it needs ti sit in front of the rear axle or it will not look scale but something that was just added. It really is a good looking motor! Nice work!
I have a 1/5 scale Brushless build that uses a 1/6 scale 6.1 Hemi motor in it. The location is spot on. And you can find it in large scale called "Yeti for lunch".
Keep up the great work I'm really enjoying this build.

Gained a little, but nothing crazy. There's more bracing on the Exo cage, so I expected a little. As for the motor, that's a good idea, hadn't thought of it. I think I'll mount it underneith the radiator "thumbsup".

If you doing all this chopping - Why not cut the lower hoop off the wraith chassis and move the skid up. Added ground clearance.

That's a great idea! Think it'll hurt the drive shaft angle? I've got some MIPs for a Wraith coming as well as longer ends due to me running a AX10 trans. Raising the skid may increase the angle some.

Wait till you have all your parts on hand and you can put it all together with something under your tranny to space it up.

I used mixed matched mips amd traxxas max shafts, angle wasn't bad at all.

But you deff have me thinking about coping your truck. Lol
