NC60 axles by BowHouse RC

got my shipment in.

thread bump. everybody needs to get your order in!

these axles have almost no flex at all! the nylon sls is the best way to print a housing. I will be making a smashplate for the front axle for the sporty guys soon.

cant wait to put these on my suckerpunch!

A few updates:
-- We've updated the first two posts in this thread with the option to purchase matching link mounts through BowHouse RC as an alternative to using stock AR60 mounts.
-- We've updated the second post in this thread to clarify what you'll need for a complete set of axles, separated into (1) parts you need to buy from our Shapeways store, (2) parts you can reuse from your existing SCX10 axles if you are converting an existing set (or that you would need to purchase separately), (3) AR60/Wraith parts that you will need, and (4) other parts you'll need to complete your axles.
-- We've updated the third post with more specific assembly instructions and links to the Axial AR60 assembly instructions from the Wraith and Bomber kits for reference.
-- We will now be able to offer built-to-order axles upon request. Email us at bowhouserc@gmail.com for more information and a price quote.
-- Based on feedback from our early adopters, we have made a few tweaks to make certain tolerances a bit more forgiving.
-- We are currently working on an XR-width NC60 housing and should have an update within the next few weeks.

Thanks for all of the support! "thumbsup"

Still havent had time to go crawling to put these thru the ringer but they are backyard approved lol. Killed a few packs running in my dirt lot of a backyard under Tekin Roc412 3100kv motor. Didn't skip a beat.

Great updates. Glad you are selling your own link mounts as an option. Also the custom build to order housings is great too (I know I asked this several times haha). Also the xr10 width would be perfect for those wanting xr10 steering without the beef tubes.

Speaking of beef tubes....any update with getting tubes specific to the NC60's?

dunno if its been mentioned but thompsons water seal makes the shapeways stuff a bit more resilient. i read that after breaking a couple printed rc10 parts.

Glad they're working out so far. Regarding Beef Tubes, we should have an update very soon.

That's good to know. Glad Thompson's is good for something. :ror:
