Castle Creations New 1512 Sensored motors

Just ordered 1 each. Also noticed the 2200kv is a 1515. I almost doubled up on both but oh well. Hopefully they'll honor it.

I think it's up to the company that's filling the order. I've had this glitch pricing go both ways, refund or actually sending the product.

Well screamer was shipped so he is good (and everyone who bought in stock). But everyone who back ordered, will probably get refunded. Fingers crossed for us back order'ers. Lol

Correct! I thought they were both 1512 but just noticed the 2200kv is a 1515 when I went back to order another glitch special.

If they ship your orders we will get paid the same amount no mater how much they charged you. We would prefer direct sales, but higher sales numbers also works. All I ask is that if you don't get them, please don't leave negative reviews on the amazon product pages. We've had a few products get low ratings because the hobby shop selling through amazon did a poor job of responding to customers.

The 1415 a side with a RC4WD 35T..

We noticed that price yesterday and joked about buying a bunch of them and then selling them back to them. That is less than half of what we sell it to them for, so I'm not sure why they have those priced so low. I wouldn't expect them to honor that price, it is a huge glitch or typo.

It's not that they're price low, they've been that way for over a month now."thumbsup"

I picked up a couple MMP combos with motors for $20 each a couple months ago. Was very surprised when they actually showed up!

How are these motors priced so low? It seems like either China was quick to clone these or Castle's Chinese supplier is selling them on their own.

I know this is happening to some other brands. Chinese suppliers for certain brands are selling the products direct as their own with no branding and half the cost. It's happening with vendors on this site although they'll never admit it.

I suspect it is a simple typo.

I hope I get one..... IF it's a clone the wires will show it

It's possible, but you'd think if it were a simple typo they would have quickly recognized it after losing money on each sale. Somebody above said this post has been up for at least a month.

Holy cow! 90% off ain't too shabby. That was Amazon too?

Yes it was, I'm in Canada so it was Amazon.ca. They only had 2 left so I quickly grabbed them both. Still can't believe I got them for that price, someone screwed up. I actually bought two servos from an online retailer about a year ago, they were 1/5 scale Savox servos and I got them for $8.99 each (Canadian $), they retailed for about $120 USD.

Well I bit. Out of stock currently but at the same time I don't really have anything to put them in right now. Guess I'd rather have them and not need them, than need them and not have them.

Exactly! This is the problem with American companies making everything in China then marking them up 300% or more. Because China follows no rules and uses prison labor, they take the same products right off the same assembly line and throw them up on eBay or Amazon for a marginal profit. They have nothing to lose. When it says in huge bold etching right on the back of the can "made in China" I have no guilt about buying the exact same product for 1/3 the cost.

Exactly! It's been happening for years in lots of industries. Once you send something to China all bets are off. But, again, you'll never find any company admitting their products are being sold by others at much lower prices.

Talk to Castle about the cloned 2650 motors, many identifiers between the two. Was told that they were made on same line, just a different "shift" (vendor).... that said SOME vendors actually QC the stuff before packaging , that is more costly
