I wanna be Dave
Just ordered 1 each. Also noticed the 2200kv is a 1515. I almost doubled up on both but oh well. Hopefully they'll honor it.

We noticed that price yesterday and joked about buying a bunch of them and then selling them back to them. That is less than half of what we sell it to them for, so I'm not sure why they have those priced so low. I wouldn't expect them to honor that price, it is a huge glitch or typo.
How are these motors priced so low? It seems like either China was quick to clone these or Castle's Chinese supplier is selling them on their own.
I know this is happening to some other brands. Chinese suppliers for certain brands are selling the products direct as their own with no branding and half the cost. It's happening with vendors on this site although they'll never admit it.
It's possible, but you'd think if it were a simple typo they would have quickly recognized it after losing money on each sale. Somebody above said this post has been up for at least a month.I suspect it is a simple typo.
I hope I get one..... IF it's a clone the wires will show it
Hang up and Drive
I picked up a couple MMP combos with motors for $20 each a couple months ago. Was very surprised when they actually showed up!

Exactly! It's been happening for years in lots of industries. Once you send something to China all bets are off. But, again, you'll never find any company admitting their products are being sold by others at much lower prices.Exactly! This is the problem with American companies making everything in China then marking them up 300% or more. Because China follows no rules and uses prison labor, they take the same products right off the same assembly line and throw them up on eBay or Amazon for a marginal profit. They have nothing to lose. When it says in huge bold etching right on the back of the can "made in China" I have no guilt about buying the exact same product for 1/3 the cost.
