Rate the last movie you watched

Jurassic World

Not bad, good visuals. I thought the story line was a little too preachy for my taste.

Me too! Saw it today with my kiddos while my wife escaped for a pedocure lol

I have been onboard this franchise since my middle school science teacher got approved for a field trip to go see the first one. Dinosaurs, jeeps, some guy named Samuel L. Jackson, John Williams soundtrack, characters my age to relate to... What's not to love!?

So yeah the 2 after that... Meh.

Reboot? Starlord/Andy? Ok!
I'm back in!

Now this crazy sequel with a bit of a tree hugging message...
Still good! And at least twice I got choked up.
Whybdobthese movies about cool stuff lately also giving me feels?!
8/10 because it was great but felt a little copycat bringing dinos back to the states. And yes a Little too heavy on be kind to animals.
Otherwise solid entry to the franchise!

Ok got off work early friday came home to get the dude and caught the matinee showing of
Ant Man and Wasp

Very cool!!!
Pena stole every scene of cousre haha that dude is a riot!
I was not expecting such a happy ending (unless you stay for the end credits scene. Noooooo!!!!)
But the first ant man ended on a happy note to so that looks to be a theme and I'm ok with that. We needed a feel good marvel movie after infinity war.
Was cool to see Pfeiffer suited up again. No spoilers but it got me a couple times. Why would somebody be cutting onions in a theater?!?
And hope/wasp 2.0 kicks serious ass!!!! Her fight scenes were great and I love Rudd's reactions lol
Go see this if you haven't!

9\10 yes a friggin NINE! Pure fun!!! (Did I give incredibles a 10? If not this is just barely a notch below incredibles.)

Watching a classic ( Platoon ) and i am going to 9/10 that sucker.

Just one problems, movies like that remind me how bad the age decease have ravished me.

I went to see "Solo: A Star Wars Story". It didn't get the greatest reviews but I liked it as I have all the others since the first one in 1977. It was interesting to see how Chewbacca and Han Solo met. It was a fun movie! :lmao:

Purchase Tomb Raider a while ago and watching it with my wife and daughter last night. Pretty good movie. Before that we saw hans solo, the reviews were right it sucked. Bits and pieces were good overall nothing I would see again.

Honestly, the decision the girl made really pissed me off...maybe it’s because I live in Cali...

I watched the recent remake of the Power Rangers Movie. Man..I wanted to love it because I was a total PR kid when this show first started. I remember me & my cousin going nuts with the toys. But everything was wrong with it. I get needing to “update” a 20 year old franchise...but damn. Alpha 5, Rita, Zords/Megazord, Goldar...all trash. The Rangers were only half trash. Why they decided to make them the “bad kids”(sans Billy) was pretty stupid too. Worst of all...they gave the kids superpowers...what?! Giving it a two for nostalgia sake.

Saw a superhero two-fer recently...Aquaman then Into the Spiderverse the next day.

Aquaman was bloody brilliant! It was nice seeing DC get a first for once...introducing a new world not explored before in comic book movies. Still not a fan of Roman Reigns Aquaman, but seeing him in the orange/green definitely helped(someone must’ve been cutting onions in my theatre too Shinchu)... The fights were amazing, the underwater scenes were wholly believable. Black Manta was AH-mazing! He looked killer! As did Ocean Master. I would say it rivals Wonder Woman as the top spot of the DC movies(of the current universe run). 10/10....yeah, I said it.

Spiderverse...I loved the comic series’ about this, but I wasn’t really feeling the animation. Seeing the movie changed my opinion on it a bit, but still something was bugging me...it was just odd. That doesn’t take away from it being a great. No wait...spectacular. No...amazing. The story was pretty cool, I did wish it followed the comics more...but what’s new. 9/10 just cause the animation bugs me.

Welcome to Marwin...

All-in-all, not a bad movie, but a bit different than the previews made it out to be.

Rouge One
Terrible. no heart or connection to originals. (other than how they got the death star plans)
im a huge fan of the original Trilogy. but these Disney ones kinda suck.
altough the one with the chic was better. it had heart and some of the original cast which made it alot better.

Holler Boy: The rise of Ryan Upchurch

I’ve been an upchurch fan for a bit over a year now and watched a video on YouTube about his documentary and knew I had to watch it. All I can say is damn, if you need inspired to do anything, just watch it
