Not that beaver tail flappin is always a bad thing

The more I think about this thing... The closer my yeti gets to the classifieds lol
And I bet I could get RC Nerds to print a 79 ford grill for this no problem.
Hmmm...

"Like"

Ill admit, the baja rey was better than the yeti. But the UDR is way better than the baja rey. In the handeling department anyways.

If I can slide the rampage around like I did my baja reys on the track.. I think the rampage would be my go to track "sct"

I could be wrong about this, but I think the yeti's are getting harder and harder to sell.

soooo... off-load the yeti IMMEDIATELY. got it.

and yeah i could only imagine a UDR would out-handle yeti and BR. just due to sheer size and weight, it helps stay planed much better. if Ernie is smart he wont let me test-hoon his UDR at proline lol
between this and the 1.9 wraith... i'm gonna go have a long talk with my good old yeti in the garage tonight.

"hey big guy... sun's getting really low..."

"but dad..." lol. I laughed a little to hard at your post.

I don't think it was the weight that was helping the udr. I think it was the shocks simply enough.. the shocks on the Baja rey are just to small for the power it has and the speed its got. If it had bigger shocks or the ability to house them, I would have kept my Baja reys no doubt.

Once I get a rampage pro kit, I plan on racing it in mod 2wd sct.

I need to see some vid of that racing.

And yeah I even put proline xt shocks on my yeti... I think it needed stiffer springs up front. Like I said earlier I'm like a cave man when it comes to shocks.
GRUNT boinger move, go boing. Work good. GRUNT

Oh and the sun getting low was a Hulk reference, if you didnt get it. Hulk and yeti are much alike.
Yeah same. Hulk like fire... Yeti like...
Well you get the idea. I could do this all day.

Anyway I would really like to see some footage of your outlaw rampage doing some racing, just like it's original incarnation was intended for.

Totally got the Hulk (Avengers 2) reference. LOL. I love my Yeti RR kit though. Won't give it up. I even doubled down and got the TT kit when it was being clearanced out.

Ill be shure to post up some racing footage. It also helps me setup the truck and understand what im doing wrong.

Maybe it's just how unique this one is, but it makes me wish I'd never got rid of my hpi mini trophy desert truck.

speculation is about $230ish.
not sure who will distribute, as soze pointed out it (the first version) was only found for purchase directly on kyosho USA's website?

*notices mini-Z 20th anniversary in background... CRIPES its been TWENTY YEARS?! i remember when i bought one in hong kong during a port visit, yeah that was back in 2001. and yes i still have it ;)

Nah, you can find the first version at online retailers. Some of the authorized Kyosho dealers carry them.

My local hobby shop carries Kyosho, but I think they don't carry the whole line up. I'd probably have to special order this one from them.

ah, sorry if i mis-quoted you. yeah i might have to pop in my LHS and see if they can get one. we are getting closer to the release date and i haven't seen anything more concrete yet. its really a race between the release date and when i can get more funding... and then i have to decide on this or another crawler before proline by the fire.

whole bunch of head scratching. maybe i just wait and run my barrage as a spare (my ascender is NOT crawlery anymore lol)
