Cant find my damn VP tool bit for ring hardware so I've got the handle versions on the way. HPI Venture will get some V2 Machetes and Pro-Line Toyo Open Countrys. Once I do more to it I'll update my thread.

Exciting day. Got our first Naturally incubated hatchling. Had a Brahma get broody a month back. Give her 4 eggs and I think there were 7 under her. lol Sneaky girl. But 2 hatched sometime this morning though I didn't know until about 10:30. One was gone the other was a pretty fresh hatch. Neither were under the broody hen. So I think the one just got too cold. This was was fully out of the egg, and chilling down so I thought about putting it under the hen, but figured I better bring it in and get it under the heat lamp as it was still farily damp, and I can't be sure one of the other hens wasn't causing an issue.
Also swapped out some fencing. Had some snow fence cut 2 ft high and across the front of the yard on this short side, so the ducks would stay out of the road, but he lil bastages were jumping over the fence lately, so out with the old and in wth the new 4ft chicken wire. lol That'll fix there lil asses... well has so far. they can still jump over the other fencing in the drive but have yet to really do it unless I'm chasing them back across the road from the ditch.
Lost 4 ducks already this year to the road. smdh. Hoping this helps cut that back to zero.
But I'll end up having to put up some 4ft fence down the sides of the yard sooner or later to keep the lil bastages in the yard and out of the road. They are trying to get to the ditch that has water in it, even though we have an entire swamp in the back yard. lol SMDH.
Also put up a temp pen inside the pen out back and the 5 Buff Opingtons got their first day outside and on the ground eating real bugs... Fun fun. They were jumping all over the place.

Well I traded my Silver Wing in on a 2023 Grom for 1 of my daughters to learn on. Needless to she is excited about it.
Then I rebuilt the forks on a RC 390 and installed new turn signals. Next will be the swing arm pivots. Still waiting on the tires to come in for it.

When I was a kid we had some Rhode Island Red layers and a couple cocks... maybe a Bantam in there iirc. And then we got a bunch of Polish boys and girls. They were the most fun and a great deal of responsibility for sis and I. Don't think we ever went without eggs at breakfast and we'd find those things all over the place in the main barn... inside hay balers, horse stalls, lofts, etc lmao. Had some ducks for a couple minutes too but I don't remember them as fondly. This was back in the 70s in rural Ohio fwiw and the neighbors thought those Polish chickens were weird af lol.
Seeing them birds brings back good memories... Cheers!

May try to do a vid on the Slash Ultimate. Picked up a set of new diffs for it.
Need to get the vid/audio setup for starting the Origin build.

Swing arm pivots are done and she is learning how to start off and stop on the grom. I had her lay it down in the grass and pick it up also.
This all happened of course after the 3 hr trail truck run this morning.
Getting that bike done has freed up my week as I'm off until next Tuesday.

Beat from yesterday's work. Moved half a mountain of sand/urf with tuk tuk, entire body workout lifting that handle when full of dirt/anything, really. It's like rowing a boat in reverse with an jacked up row/trajectory/gait..? that and it weights a poop ton when full or stuck, had a terrible handle made from pipe fittings, ya, that had to go too.
Worked on tuk tuk tractor for a tiny bit today. Cut the "actuator" handle down in order to extend it by 18" and blasted it to prep for a weld baed.
Purchased a $17 5/16 drill bit, you know the twelve inch long type you'll never use again. This was to reach through the sides of the grille so i could put some shoulder bolts through, instead of the full threaded bolt that went through like before. Sanded the hood a bit and figured, guessed on weight placement.
Picked up the Lincoln hot metal glue gun from my trailer "on base", for the "actuator" handle extension, that and the killerbody LC79, and LC80 body and all
the accessories that I've been gathering for both those builds.

New (and used) truck prices are wild these days. I bought my 16 ram in 2020 right before everyone started talking supply chain shortages. Probably could have made 10 grand on it after a few months, but then I'd be stuck spending what I made and more to get an equivalent truck. Prices still haven't come down. I bet i could sell the truck today for what I've got in it 5 years later. I'll just keep driving it instead.
To stay on topic, hauled the camper over to Huntington Beach for the weekend with the wife and Pancake.

When I bought my 2017 Ram I paid roughly $52k CAD plus taxes, they had 25% off at the time because it was never ending month or the Ram. I sold it during COVID and made 18k cash and cleared out my remaining balance on my loan.
My Ridgeline I purchased in May was $52 CAD plus taxes.
That GM was optioned out similar to my '17 Outdoorsman, they wanted 79k, with the lift it stickers at 89. It's Truck month and employee pricing so it was like 8 off, but my gosh.
It is shocking how they have gone up around twenty grand CAD in less than a decade.

Same. Hell, I drive a 22 year old German or a 39 year old Nissan pickup. Besides, the older stuff doesnt have any of the tracking/connectivity stuff, it doesnt try to think for me and it has 3 pedals.
Our 2017 Camry will be paid off in three months and I'm pretty damn happy about that. I'd love to upgrade after this one's paid off but I just can't justify it ( less than 32,000 miles on the odometer) nor can we afford another five year financial commitment. I can't imagine what kind of note people are paying on new trucks and SUVs. Much deeper pockets than mine.
The Jeep I just sold in January was a manual and I guess those are pretty unpopular anymore. Hell, the truck I learned to drive on at age 12-13 was three on the tree!
First time seeing one of these in my area.
A black bear was hit in front of my neighbors driveway this morning. He was alive, but was badly injured.
There have been other sightings recently in the next county over. People have been seeing them more and more lately. I’ve lived here for almost 30 years and this is the first one I’ve seen.
OSHP and ODNR came to record the sighting and remove him.

No joke. Ordered a '25 Transit awd 350 hi roof long wb cargo van. GDP spent. Now upfit the thing. There is the US GDP! If you don't know what an upfit van is, Google it. I may have to build a scale version.
