CVD's for TLT?

...don't like the price? stop the hammer throttle and live with the stockers:shock:

YES, either buy em or don't. Many here have been waiting for these for along time! I've broken several stock TLT axles even with a slipper and trying not to bind it up too much, if you're into this hobby stuff is going to break sooner or later. I prefer to build quality so that I can wheel instead of sitting around changing inner axles etc.

Everybody was dying for these to be produced and now all this bitching??? :flipoff:

"bitching"????
A full set of cvd's for the traxxas revo or jammin x1-crt costs less than 2 for the tlt, im not bitching, just curious if u guys agree that it is a little overpriced.

Traxxas or other MIP CVD's dont come with 2 different widners either, at an average price of 15-20 a set each"thumbsup"

here's an example, I bought these a few weeks ago, HERE , these didnt come with hexes, You have to supply you're own. The tlt's come with 2 sets. they're $27 for 4 x2 at the crawler store so thats $91 to make a reasonable comparison to do just the front or rear

And not to mention there not really mass produced like the other cvd's, theres not a huge demand for tlt cvd's outside of the rock crawling community. You can't expect to make 100 of something for the same price as the same thing in a batch of 100,000. Thats just buisness.

I guess i agree, and i am gunna order one set, for my sw2. I havnt decided if i am gunna get an additional 2 sets for my tuber and my bender...prob only 1 set.

they are aluminum, one is stock tlt width I believe and the other is 1/4 wider. I've only looked at them up close briefly and am not 100% sure the exact width
