A lil running video https://youtu.be/TR8cefUCuUs
who drives 200ft away from you at full tilt anyhow?
What kind of UDR video doesn't have jumps?! Come on! Huck that thing!
To be fair, the video description says the BMX track that was supposed to be used was flooded.
That thing definitely hauls on 6S, wonder if it can do more than go straight that fast.

It's a scale trophy truck, their purpose is to go pretty much straight for a 1000 miles as fast as they can and absorb huge bumps on the way.
If you think it is going to turn like a SCT you are going to be very disappointed. It may or may not jump fairly well. My Baja Rey jumps good on 2s but my Yeti TT is a lot more challenging to get to jump well.
In all likelihood it will corner just like a Yeti Score or a Baja Rey; with lots of weight transfer, body roll and drama. Personally I wouldn't have it any other way, it's my favorite thing about trophy trucks.
I think 6S is overkill in any RC,
Most notable for me is the subject of jumping. What this guy said.
I never said it wasn't going to handle. I only said it wasn't going to handle like a SCT. Most people that buy one of these (Baja Rey, Yeti TT, etc.) are coming from a SCT or something with IRS (because a scale TT in RC is a recent development). I can't count the number of people that posted after they got one that it handled like crap compared to their "insert favorite SCT here".
I don't see the UDR getting a kit. Traxxas made a kit because lots of scale crawlers are builders as well. The market is there. At the end of the day the UDR is a basher and most bashers don't like building.im gonna wait for udr to come in kit form.. traxxas just did it for the trx4.. too bad the radio equipment is included. i like using one radio for all my cars. im weird, right handed radios throw me off. gotta have the steering wheel in my left fingers lol..
True. I don't fly. Althought I have started dabbling in drones.planes, helis, and EDFs fall under RCs.
they definatly require 6S and more depending on size"thumbsup"
Agreed as long as it also jumps well. Too many of the current wannabe trophy trucks jump like shit.its going to handle like a 1/7 scale trophy truck.
which is perfect.
