1BadJeepBruisers Chino Clone. An RCC Legend

hi i would realy like some more info on the tubeing bender, i am allways trying to find something better and your design seems to work really well so any info is helpfull

were you sure when u said that this one wasnt gonna be the ultimate bruiser?? cuz i really think your gonna have a hard time topping this one, i really do. freakineh great work man

With Moab Approaching fast, I had to shift out of 1st and back to neutral and park this back on the work bench. Last night I tore the interior out, cleaned out all the sand from the stream I sank it in  and started working on it.

I knew that camaro model I got had more or purpose then just stealing the engine for my blazer, it also had very cool arm rests

So I ripped those out and started cutting, they were to long to work right from the camaro, so a little work from the lexan scissors and they shortened up nicely

I also wasnt happy with my cheese ball door handle, so I pulled them off and actually making them the correct way

The armrests are now both shortened, I just need to hit them with some primer, then fill the seams, sand and paint.

I also started on a headliner, and I cut up a broken Jugg head light lens which I will make into a dome light. I then have a rear view mirror from this Brats car my dads friend picked up for us at a thrift shop that had a bunch of LEDs and other cool interior parts, so Ill probably steal that as well. After that, Im going to make some after market door speakers as my 2 stock ones fell off apparently :roll: plus you couldnt see them anyway :x so Ill make some nice 6" round ones "thumbsup"

Stay tuned for more, itll be non stop clone work and an SW3 build until I get on the plane to denver :lol:8)

update update

Been working on the clone like crazy, getting it ready for Moab. my D rings came yesterday from Juggsterr so I wired wheeled the bumpers and hit up home depot for some 3/16 square stock. Came home and brazed on some mounts and repainted the bumpers.

Dont mind the winch, its not mounted yet.

I also took off the rear 4 link bars and 4 link axle mount and painted all that stuff black

Interior is officially DONE, I am not taking it back out EVER  Its a total PIA with the door panels and what not. The arm rests are in, new factory toyota speakers with emblems on them from scaleoffroad. There is also a headliner with a dome light and a rear view mirror as well.

I am also trying out some MSD beadlocks, they are really really nice and hold the bead great... I am just not sure if they will stay as I think a beadlock on this truck is overkill, but since Its going to MOAB I dont want my tires falling off the rims every 2 seconds.

Looks good, like the wheels, Do you run oil in those rc4wd rear shocks? or are they just friction shocks?

There is a tiny bit of oil in them just to keep the o-ring from getting ruined, but other wise they are straight friction

Mike that is looking amazing. Top quality work :)

Thanks dude, I like the way your wrangler has turned out

man this truck blows my mind. great job and keep up the good work

:lol: Yea, I thought the damn paint was dry and it wasnt  gotta wet sand that spot and re spray it before I mounted the winch again

come on now, trail rigs dont have 4" exhaust  this isnt no mall crawler turbo diesel with ridiculously huge exhaust.

I have considered making some stock looking exhaust out of 3/16 brake line. If I have time after I make the mini tool box for my tools to go inside the big tool box and inner fender wells up front I will try for some exhaust"thumbsup"

*hand in pants*

:? Gross....

nice."thumbsup" i like the detail on this looks good

Thanks
