There are a couple in Ottowa whicih is closest to the campground from my understanding.

yup, takes me 40-45mins towing from my house and you wont be towing and your a good 10mins closer. These other guys are from up north in Lake in the hills area so its more like 1 1/2hr or more for them.

I wish I could make it but, my family will be in town so I'll be entertaining them all weekend.

we had the bright idea to meet at a truckstop, have breakfast/coffee and then drive to the Cliffs as a group.

For real though.. A couple of us guys that are fairly close to each other were talking about picking a time to meet up at a truck stop/oasis saturday morning. The actual time & location has yet to be determined but, if the goal is to meet at cliffs at 9am then, we'll have to plan accordingly.

So, you can meet us at 9am cliffs or stay tuned for more information regarding the earlier meet spot and then drive to the cliffs as a pack. This is mostly for us guys that are all going the same way, just because. If you have to go out of your way to get to the earlier meet spot, its a waste of time as we're all going to the same place.

I may be staying just south of Chicago this weekend. If I do I'll be bringing a couple trucks. Not the most scale but both are capable and fun. Only problem is I have a broken foot right now. Place crutch accessible?

Edit- nevermind marseilles is an hour away from Hammond. Might still bring the trucks im sure I can find a couple nice spots near there to run.

theres a truck stop east of morris on 80 that i always get gas and cb antennas at. its got a restaurant and all that. i forget the name or the town...

you will not want me in your 'pack' since my top speed will be 65 on the interstate, slower if its raining.

looking to be a mild weekend, which im very happy about.
