2010 Dorkstar Hybrid

Alrighty, did some fun work today. Got the panels painted Gunmetal:

I gotta trim the panels a bit to reveal more of the tube work:

I solved the front wheel issue! I'm now using Vanquish SLW v2's with 775 offset hubs. I think I got the 1" wides. Now I have an inner beadlock, and they clear better than the JCon's, so I dont have to run the grey traxxas hex! This should narrow the front up by another 1/4" or so. Plus the V2's are dead sexy!

You can see how much more space there is! I'm happy that I can use aluminum hexes now.

There's the Jcons in the rear and V2's in the front. Stickers are in the works! I gotta get moving on the little details too.

Thanks for looking!

I have to admit, I wasn't all that crazy about the rear end at first, but seeing it with all the panels painted really pulled it together.

Aptos CA reference on your rig"thumbsup" Love the beaches there!!! If you dont mind me asking how does it tie into this rig? OHH YA!! rig is of the hook too it just keeps getting better.

Well if it didn't look bad ass before it sure does now! Those decals look killer on there, just what it needed. Nicely done.

Thanks everyone! I like the decals too, now I just need to add the scale bits and a skid plate, and styrene rear tray.

I grew up in Aptos, and it'll always be home. :)
