4PK Setups, Tips, Tricks and Help

COuld anybody tell me waht the advnatges are to having the 4pk over a nomadio. I ask becasue I own a nomadio (react and sensor), and am wondering if the 4pk is actually a "better" radio. Granted, it does not have telemetry, but other than that I mean. (and of courese availability of parts).

Which is the nikko?

Either way, that is a bad comparison. The 4pk and Sensor are both about $500. They both have about the same features. The difference from what I can tell is that the 4pk has better fit and finish, and is more available. The Nomadio has more features (from what I can tell).

So, my question is, what features does the 4pk have that the nomadio's don't? I don't particularly care about fit and finish, as long as its comfortable, and the nomadio's are comfortable in the hand.

Never owned a Nomadio. Never cared for the them when using them really. With their track record for burning up RX's was always something that kept me away.

All in all, I don't know. All I can say is that I have never heard anyone want to get out of a 4PK, can't say the same for the Nomadio.

Umm, what track record for burnign rx's? I have dropped mine in water (like fully submersed). They cut-out, but as soon as they dry off, they run again. You can run 12v through them... Most people get out of nomadio b/c of availbailty, but I have a ton of rx's, so that is not a problem. It seems the answer I am getting is "we are futaba fanboys".

If someone could actaully tell me what the difference is, it would be appreciated. I am not trying to start a debate, i genuinely want to know the differences. I am not going to switch jsut cuz some poeple say they like the futaba better just becasue it doesn't have the nomadio badge. In fact, i am not going to swithc anywas, I just wanted to know. I like my nomadio, it has all the features i want/need and have never had teh equipment fial on me, or even ever gltich. I jsut wanted to know the differences. I like to keep updated with present techonologies.

I can honestly say buying the 4pk was one of the most thought out decisions I have made in my r/c hobby, and has been one of the best.

I absolutely love my 4pk

Thanks for the link. I have a 603FS RX

I finally able to use the mix function in the last comp I participated and it moved my skill level instantly. This feature is priceless in a dual ESC configuration. What else I am missing if I dont upgrade to 4PK?

Basically you are missing rear dig on the trigger and mixing percentage on both front and rear esc. Believe it or not I find it helpful to turn the front down on some technical climbs"thumbsup" My 3pk is for sale if anyone is interested:mrgreen:
BTW that rig of yours is awesome!!

Thanks a lot in many ways.
I was watching you drive and inspired to use the mix function for the first time. The 1st course is kind of familiarization and the next two courses I finished (my first time after 3 comps) with minus scores. I am sold with 4PK, its a matter of time my 3PKS will be for sale too.
See you in the next comp.

No tech but I had to pimp my new sick ass skin 8)
