4PK Setups, Tips, Tricks and Help

Just looking at your pic you can tell it's smaller. It's about 30% smaller is the spec.

I don't know of any plans for a new 3 channel but that could change at any moment.

The big differences are of course the receiver and with the way the toggle for the menu works. It is soooooo much better now. It is very precise and smooth.

Like Harley said the response time is 2x's as fast as the 4PK. Not really a big deal with crawling.

There was talk of a LiFe pack being included. The one I got came with the same battery as the 4PK. I already put a LiFe in it though "thumbsup"

Do the LiFe packs weight less then the 4pk packs ?

I just bought the 4pk with the RX deal, $400 radio and a free rx is tough to beat. I dont see anything really all that mind blowing with the new 4pk that warrants a purchase unless your a "latest and greatest" kinda guy.

No $400 is a great price. But I am a "latest and greatest" guy. I was one of the first few guys in crawling with a 4pk, if I remember right I bought it about this time 2 years ago. If you dig deep in this thread, in the very beginning, I helped lay out how to correctly program the radio for dual ESC use. I typically buy every Futaba flagship surface radio whenever they are released, do I need to, no. Does it make me feel happy, yes "thumbsup"
