Very cool, Teng - good to see they have now got the full 8 channels for the FlySky Noble NB4... Thanks for posting!

"thumbsup"

Here's the page that has the firmware download link to bump the transmitter up from 4 to 8 channels, to match:

Awwww, man - stop, you're embarrassing me!:oops::oops:

:lmao:

You're our secret agent sending us "spy" photographs of stuff months before we see it in the rest of the world!

long awaited news thank you. Are they not able to get all the channels into one receiver rather than an expansion pack?

I look every 5 days for the 8 channel rx. "thumbsup"

Are there any points of interest along the way, any issues? I have a chrome book so I can't do mine until a find a willing Microsoft user to allow me to use their pc. for the update :)

No it was just plug it in, start the update and wait a few minutes.
And then just go into the system settings and activate 8ch mode.

No problem :)
I installed the 4ch receiver in one of my crawlers yesterday and I allready love this thing. The way everything is so damn easy to adjust is..
Looking forward to get the 10ch, 8ch and the extender-thing linked in the first post here. I ordered that one one hour before I finally found that 10ch, so that's sort of a waste. But then I get to try that also :)

Has anyone on here done the upgrade download yet, any problems afterwards?
Just trying to be careful not to create a problem with my radio! "thumbsup"

I did it to mine, no problems what so ever.
Just download, plug the transmitter to the computer, go into system menu and choose to update firmware, execute the file and wait.

When it's done you need to go into the system menu again and choose how many channels you want to be active.

Here you can see that it got 8 channels.

When I go to the download site this is the version that comes up 2.0.75 is it the right download. The site shows version 2.0.67 as having the 8 channel up grade, is it included in the 2.0.75 version. I'm not a techie so electronics is not one of my strong points! "thumbsup"
Thanks for the help! ;-)

Ok, I'll do a write-up for you..

1 - You start the program you downloaded that's called "Update*Firmware*Flysky*Noble*NB4.exe"
rqCpylV.jpg

2 - You turn on your controller and press the "cogg wheel"

3 - You enter the System menu

4 - You scroll down the menu and find the "Firmware update" and press that one

5 - On this prompt you just push "YES"

6 - You now go to the pc-program and press "Update"

7 - Now you wait.. :)
------------------------------------
8 - Now you're done - GLHF!

PS: After that update you may need to recalibrate the throttle and steeringwheel. You do that by enter the cogg-wheel, enter system menu, scroll down and enter "Stick calibration" and follow the on-screen instructions. :)
