Another bad RC4WD Experience ...

Got that right, at least they tried to do the right thing and replace a faulty item, its not the sales/service rep's fault that the product isnt quality controlled properly.
Yes the product was junk but the customer service wasn't as bad as most were making it out to be when i had an issue, just the product itself.

How many emails and weeks did it take for them to send out the replacement?

Was having bad cogging issues with my bully 2 rtr plus my transmitter won't stay in neutral so it would go into a cogging fit and jump off the rocks. When I emailed them about it, the rep told me he changed his ESC out for something that was programmable to avoid cogging...
And said if you mess with the controller it should go into neutral.
Don't get me wrong. They make some great axles..
But if you are going to sell electronics that cannot crawl on a competition grade crawler and tell me all I can do is buy new ones, that's pretty lame in my opinion. Glad I have my bully but I don't think I'm going to buy anything else from them to be quite honest.
I was missing an axle pin and they sent a couple right out though.

Comp grade crawler ...Yes
The electronics are a simple starting spot, my BRMD was almost the difference between the kit and rtr....

Just sharing my experience with customer service. Like I said though I do love these axles though. "thumbsup"

update

I received replacement tires on Friday 3/31... first tire I opened was deformed just like the ones it was supposed to replace :|

Have not received the broken Beast cast-aluminum 4-link mount replacement yet.

The 4 link mounts break repeatedly. I break one almost every time I take it out. :x

Really? Wow. Mine was actually broken when I removed it from the box for the first time ever brand new. It had to be packaged that way... no way it could have happened inside the box and foam padding that the kit was shipped in.

I have had good experiences with their customer service both times I have contacted them.

The first time was a new wireless winch controller that would not stop. They had me ship the bad one to them and they replaced it within a week.

The second time I was trying to install the front 3 link kit on my LWB TF2 and my frame was missing holes for the mounts. A couple pictures and a copy of my invoice, and I had a new set of frame rails a few days later.
