Well, i got mine three weeks ago, sadly i received one of the earlier kits, no hd nothing and missing some bolts, i have to buy the parts, but no biggie, i have already built the chassis and mechanicals no problem so far, i will post pics later , nothing out of the ordinary though, i still have to paint and trim the body, haven't decided what color yet.

Nice, waiting to see pics. "thumbsup"

Gotcha. It took me a few minutes trying to figure out exactly what that was. Maybe I was just having an off day

Not my best work at paint but here it goes, so far i have only used it on the couch to test it, the steering, suspension and traction seem to work properly, i did the piston shock mod and it makes the travel smoother and softer than stock. I am waiting on a couple becs i ordered for this and another build i have going on, it will run a sidewinder 3 on 3s, i am also wating on the relo kit and will be ordering the the parts to convert to a 2 speed.

Hey folks, i am getting ready to order the 2 speed parts for the tranny, i just want to be absolutely sure that the list on the stickie is up to date and complete, any input will be greatly appreciated"thumbsup"

Looks good, did you notch both piston holes, drill them out to what size and what oil weight? "thumbsup"

Little help with 2 speed parts question? i am a little confused as i have seen several builds with the 2 speed conversion and they all mention parts missing from the sticky list to complete.

Where did the two-speed conversion parts list go? I saw it many times, but dont' remember where it's at...should be a sticky!

Here's some info, but we should update and sticky the list. :)

If you are wanting to use the two speed trans the parts list for things you need is not complete. You will need the e-clips that hold the shift fork in place and 2 extra 4x8x3 bearings.
Other than that so far GOOD BY AXIAL!

Well , i really haven't updated this thread, and i will post some actions sometime later, but so far i love this rig, it is really nice out of the box , i lowered the body about three notches from factory, looks much better imho, it's now sporting a 30t holmes motor"thumbsup", i am installing leds on it, i will use some 1.9 beadlocks i got from eritex a few moons ago, i am waiting on a 2 speed tranny to come in also.
