Beers

I am not a beer guy at all, did some reading on ciders today and had to stop and grab this on my way home from work. I could get into these.

Hope it's ok to post them in here.

I grew up in Vermont so Woodchuck is very familiar to me. A buddy of mine and I would go skiing and have a few of these at lunch...a good break because they wouldn't get you hammered.

My Dad took a liking to them and started bringing them to work for lunch. He didn't know they had alcohol in them  My Mom caught him one day and threw a fit. She thought he'd get fired for drinking on the job, and she was right. Great memories :ror:

I've tried all of the woodchuck ciders, bought the sampler pack the other day.

The "Crisp" is my favorite, followed by the "granny smith", the 802, and amber were my least favorite. Once I finish this 12 pack I plan on trying some other brands, the local store had probably 15 different ones.

Hey EeePee, I found this for ya.

I think I would buy something called Bear Semen, and drink it, as long it had alky in it.

The whole town is going nuts about this animals thing, it's hilarious.

We got a monkey with herpes running around! How funny is that!?

Not sure if I've seen this before, so I grabbed it today. It's not very smelly at all, there's no outstanding flavor, tiny bit of pine in the end I guess. Somewhat thin in the mouth too. Easy to drink, but for $12.99, I'm not seeing why I'd get it again, it's just too plain I guess.

This has been my new favorite beer. Tastes like coffee beans, its a very light easy to drink beer too. I expected it to be more of a stout, but it's not even close. I was pleasantly surprised.

Trying another brand tonight.

Crispins original.

Little more fermented taste, I'll still say the woodchuck crisp is my favorite.

Wow, I didn't know West Vagina people drink good beer. Heck, I didn't know they send West Vag good beer. I finally learned something new today.

Hahahahaha. Not only do we get good beer and enjoy it, but we brew it as well. Here's the new brew stand we've been working on. Just ordered the kettles and fermentor yesterday...

Sucks to be you. :flipoff:

You know what you wrong coasters get that we don't? Earthquakes.

Nice! Is this a Brutus 10 plan? Always liked that system. I got my pump and keg conversion finished earlier this summer and still haven't brewed

Sweet.

Good foam pour, huh? :ror:

Yes, it is based on the Brutus 10. We made a few small changes, but nothing major. We were gonna do keg conversions, then my brew partner sold his harley so we ordered blichmann kettles and all the fixings. I'm kind of glad... I wasn't looking forward to polishing out 3 kegs.

Had a few good ones with a couple of buddies tonight. Figured I'd share since EeePee is amazed we get good beer here  Sorry for the camera work. It's hard to take a good pic with a phone when you're going at a good stash of beer...

The vanilla porter was great. The flying Dog octoberfest was OK. I still prefer Ayinger octoberfest.

Loved this one. Great all the way from start to finish.

This one was great too. Wish I had been able to enjoy more than one.

I was surprised by this one. Smacks you in the mouth with peaches up front and finished crisp and clean.

This one was different... Almost tasted like apple juice in a way. Apparently it's only made in one town in Germany and they use moldy grain as 50% of their recipe. Dunno if I'd buy it, but I'd take a drink if someone handed it to me.

Least favorite of the night. I wish IPAs tasted the way they smell. Very IPA in taste. Buckeye nailed the beer, just not my cup of tea.

Great hefe with way more clove to it than banana.

This one was more balanced between the clove and banana flavors. Very smooth on the finish.

Best beer of the night. 9.0% and super smooth and tasty. Definitely couldn't tell it was that potent by the taste. I'd drink it on the regular if I could afford it.

Best pumpkin ale I've had yet. Great spices and pumpkin flavor up front and finishes with a malty nutmeg flavor. I may have to stash a few of these.
