Berg Newage EnRoute Beadlock thread...

your options are all slugs or nothing to stay balanced. one to many holes

quote "and is easily adjustable."

Kinda rude... I think the idea is awesome. And i'm not a believer that 1 slug off balance would make enough of a difference to even be able to tell.

GOOD WORK MCHESTER!

Seems like these could be added to the list:

on my berg the wheel track is 10 3/16"
with HB rovers about 10.5"

wheel width 1", with bead rings 1.2"
offset 11.38mm from wheel to bottom of hex.

Just wanted to voice my appreciation for those people willing to compile all this information into one thread, it makes stuff much easier for people new to crawling like myself.

enRoute Stainless Wheel Weight Set (4)

Anybody here ever tried using these optional weights on the stock wheels? Do they work. How many do you use?

Most of us have gotten away from weighting wheels. From both dependability and performance perspectives, light wheels and knuckle weights are far superior.

Noob alert. I am saving up to buy a Berg 2.2 Tracer V3 kit. I think I will go with the kit without the wheels and tires, but I am wondering about the stock wheels and what is the difference between W30-4, 30-4,and W33-7? Are they different widths? Another thing it doesn't look like they come with the screws for the rings. Anyway I'm betting there is something better than the enroute wheels, and I like the idea of the light wheels and knuckle weights. I have only just begun my research into this project, on thing I would like is to order as much as I can from Amainobbies if possible. I am open to suggestions. Thanks in advance.
