Black Label Crawlers "Chopper" MOA LCC Build!

I'm pretty new to RC crawling, only bought my first Losi last October. Before that I was racing nitro truggies and thinking like everyone else, that it would be boring to go so slow, and wondering what was the point.

In the local club here it's all Bullies and Bergs! Bullies and Bergs! Rah! Rah! Rah! and I honestly had started to consider my LCC to be my entry level rig and that I would "upgrade" to one or the other eventually. I even started spec'ing out a bully rig using the cast front axle and a new lightweight rear axle....

But as I get more comfortable with the Losi and with help in how to choose a good line from club members I'm finding that the Comp Crawler can hang with them and once I get a bit better it may even beat them. Right now I've got the only Losi in the club and I've started work on a second one.

Team Losi! Team Losi! Rah! Rah! Rah!

:D

I'll have the grease available soon,it's called Worm Food!!8) It's awesome stuff, you will see a reduction in axle temps, motor temps, everything will cool down quite a bit.Basically a one time application,no need to keep adding grease.Stays in place really well! Also works awesome for other gears aswell!

Well I had an interesteing night the other night..

Had a thunder power 45c 850 3s pack decide to short out and burn up itself and my two Holmes esc's in the mix..

Kinda got me wondering about the TP packs..

Damn, Ouch!

I best be keeping a close eye on mine

Yah there was something funny going on with that lipo..It burned from the inside out in the area of the wires..I'm figuring they had a wire a little close somewhere when they soldered it up.Then it eventually touched. Then POOF!!

Were you running the truck at the time or was it just sitting there?

I was running it,it was working perfectly fine, then smoke coming from the crawler..

Bummer on the lipo man. I hate when shit just takes a dump at random. Down to bidness tho. Any updates on the "worm food?" im ready to try a different lube! And ill be sending ya a pm shortly. .. .
