Black Label Crawlers "Chopper" MOA LCC Build!

Why don't you like the Lipo on the rear axle? I see lots that won't put a Lipo back there, but then add weight...usually way more than a Lipo would add.

I am running 2oz. in each rear wheel with the Lipo over the axle and it seems to do fine. Running 6oz in each front. This was just converted over to MOA, so not much tuning yet.

I myself just dont care to have the lipo on the rear axle because of the risk of damage mainly.

That and putting it in the belly over the front links as far as I could was just the next best thing to me since previously I had ran them over the front upper links when it was a shafty, but that could not be done with the MOA coverted rig.

I had the same thought about damage, but a piece of plexiglass cut out the same size as the Lipo took care of that...just used Gorilla Tape to hold it on.

If you mounted it on the rear, you could lower your ESCs and changing the Lipo is a breeze...even with my DMG tuber. I know your rig crawls well, but you would have all your weight in a straight line...figure a straight line drawn from the front servo, across the ESCs and ending at the Lipo. Man, I am curious if it would improve it!

Send me one of those chassis and I will try it out! ;)

I already have my stuff in a straight line and my esc's are on the skid, cant go any lower..8)

Yah I am still running them..One of the three I had shorted out in a weird way and burnt up itself and two holmes esc's in the mix of me trying to get it turned off and under control..I think new lipos are in my near future..I am gonna go 4s as soon as I find the right pack.

We have a lot of guys running these packs and love them. Heck, it is what all of our team guys are running!

So, 4S?!?! WOW, now you are talkin some power there! Let me know what you want to do! Oh, and I think there will be some "top secret" packs for you to test at ECC if you want... "thumbsup"

Yah I have been threatning to use a 4s pack for awhile now..Just gotta find the right one.

I like the sound of top secret!! With that said..I'm your huckleberry..."thumbsup":ror:

mate, do u mean 8oz added weight? or the toal weight of one wheel+tire? It is not easy to mount 8oz wight on a SLW wheel.

I am running 8oz in each front wheel, and 5 in each rear wheel as far as weights go.

The backside of the rock is like a 70* grade and you got stay on it to make it up,usually resulting in some awesome wheelies..:ror:
