Is there such a name? I guess there is now. Never even ran these stock, a few rainy days in a row in San Diego and this is what happened...

I'm a fan of siping and cutting tires, and one of my ghetto test is the thumb test...run my thumb over the face of the tread and look for that grabby-fingery feel, these had much more over bone stock.

I've run a pack on them and so far they are much better than my TSL's. 8lb 12oz. rig, CI Lil Nova dual stage 1.9 mediums at 4.50, no mod to foams.

Hit a local spot that still had some wet sand, couple blips of the 35T on 3s and they cleaned out nicely. Both inside and outside lugs seemed to grab and pull me up lines I had trouble with before. Forward bite is much better than my TSL's, but still need to run these more on different terrain and more packs to let the foams break in. So far I will say much better than my TSL's and siped Flat Irons. Pics...

:lmao:
not that finger
seriously...want a set of these and have only seen two reviews on them. Looks like you cut the outside lugs down a bit...is that true

My first pic you can see how I split the inside and outside lugs in "half", that just there gave me more side bite over the TSL. I wish I did a run on them stock, but I got ansy.

ah...I see that now...maybe a before and after pic would have been good.
I'm a lot like that antsy thing myself...I get impatient...wanna know NOW!!!

thanks for the info

They do look awesome. And I agree, they now look a little Goodyear-ish.

Now if we could get some 5.5 2.2s...

Pics from today at the Glider Port in La Jolla/Black's Beach, basically sandstone cliffs and gulleys that get sticky when wet which it was in most spots from all the recent rain. It was kinda' hard to tell how well they worked compared to the stock tires and the Pitbulls (Wally's truggy always crawls up whatever, so probably a bad comparison, LOL) in the given conditions, but they seem to bite hard on what traction there was, and cleaned right out with a blip or two of the throttle. Next outing will for sure be on rock so we can get a better comparison and more break in time...

Now, some pics to go with my useless information...
