True. What I meant was low couple hundreds would be fine, but if you're approaching 500 RPM or more they can keep it.

I agree. For most 500 would be to much. If its in the 400 rpm range I would probably still get one of the 3000 kv ones when they come out because my build has a little extra reduction.

That's kinda how I felt but our marketing department got feedback from some crawlers and racers and they said they wanted something that would blend in better for a stealth appearance.

I like it. Much better than Green. Black motors are much harder to spot in photos. The green, which I'm not a fan of to begin with, sticks out like a sore thumb.
There have been many black motors. Black is not only HH.

Yup, a new line of motors needs a color change.
Gunmetal Grey Metallic - that would be stealthy, classy, and slightly different than the other big names.
Lots of technical data etched on can exterior.....

I'm not sure exactly which ones we are releasing. Of all the ones we got sampled, the 1900kv was engineering's least favorite because it couldn't take much current before it lost efficiency, but in a 1.9 crawler it should do fairly well on 2-3s.
Can't remember them all off the top of my head, but I think the ones we got samples of were 1900kv, 2350kv, 2850kv, 3300kv, 3800kv. Don't quote me on this but I think we are doing the bottom 3 or 4. I'm not involved with the decisions so I don't know the final answer.
