Castle Creations NEW lineup if Sensored motors

I test out new firmware for castle. I can tell you that the new firmware is improved on start up. So if there's not some problem hardware with in your MMX the new firmware will solve it

Awesome! Thanks. "thumbsup"

Different physical shapes. We both use a Japanese lamination supplier and high quality magnets. Castle uses one grade higher strength, I use one grade higher temp rating.
Thanks, could that possibly be helped by gearing down a little so at 1000 rpm it is slower. Also just for some context about what rpm do your's or tekin's motors start up at. Thanks

Latest firmware, my Puller 540 3500kv running 3s starts up about 120 rpm unloaded. Tekin motors I've tested are in the 300rpm range.

You can always gear down for better startup.

Good to hear. Now I just have to be patient and wait for the new firmware. I seriously hope they release it to the public this week!

Well I'm sure to get some haters for this one... I just won a Castle Creations Sensored motor from entering the Instagram Halloween contest !! Unbias data reports logs and serious abuse reports coming soon on my YouTube channel !! Subscribe "thumbsup"

Congrats and thanks for your huge pictures.

The flex shot made me laugh so hard I felt complied to post. Too funny. Even funnier if you're serious.

No really, cool that you got the motor. Hope that it's sweet. Honest.

And, flex is overrated. One tire's height. No more.

Great rule of thumb "thumbsup" I've felt the same with 1 to 1 rigs in the past ! I'll defiantly keep that in mind !
Oho and what's the happy medium with the picture size?

Sorry for getting off track... back to the thread "thumbsup"

Congrats on the prize! What ya have to compare with? Maybe I could help in that regard.

Thanks John "thumbsup" I have a Tekin T8 gen 2 TT2367 4038 1700kv. 77mmx 42mm including fin/ shaft 19x5mm
Any and All recommendations are greatly appreciate sir John "thumbsup" or is it sir Borislav Vaprinsky Lmao!!

I've looked at your products and they look top notch! I plan on perchanceing some of your servos soon ! I wasn't aware that you made a motor for a 15lb + rig... If I did I would've defiantly gone with one of yours on my XLX ! I could feature it in my SCX 5 ... except it will be covered by a diecast hemi "thumbsup" I could set you up on the body.. Especially if I was running your servos...pm me John if your interested. Thanks

I gave Castle a call about startup rpm and tech said he didn't have those numbers yet because of the new firmware but that it would be somewhere around a couple hundred rpm. He said definite numbers wouldn't be out for a couple weeks because of firmware development so take it for what it's worth. He also said the new firmware will make it even lower

If a couple hundred is 200 OK. If it's more it's not a crawler motor.

Now I wish they'd hurry up with the firmware release!

You can delete your own posts BTW.

I'll go ahead and delete my post. I believe Holmes said the Tekin Roc had a startup of about 300 rpm and its a crawler motor. I was just stating what I know. I am waiting for real numbers too.
