cboggs' DOMINATOR Bully 2

Your interlocking chassis brace design is fantastic. So simple, yet not so obvious. I've played with interlocking plate designs for years but the connection points were always more complex. Well played sir"thumbsup"

Oh yeah, nice truck.

Killer comp last weekend, its been a long time since I drove good enough for first place, feels good for a change! On to the pics...

Well after 2 months off I was hoping for a good finish but unfortunately I had a motor wire pull off on coarse 1 which ended my day kinda since I didn't bring a soldering iron with me this time. I ended up 5th but I borrow Kinggee's car for the remaining 2 courses to get some drive time in, if that would have counted it would of been a good 2nd place finish. Oh well, on to the next comp next month.

which kind of jconcept they are???they seem to be a good crawling tire for playing around.compared to a Voodoo do they are same size????will follow your build thread to know more on!!!

Jconcept Scorpios 2.2... I have the same on my 2-speeds scale yeti (u can see the build thread here on RCC or on TQ)...
The tires are HUGE, not even sure if they are comp legal?!?
Compound is soft with thick sidewall so they don't deform too much at high speed...
The stock foam are way too big to my liking for the tires... Prefer CI as usual!
Oh yeah, and the price is cheap on these... ;)

JConcepts unveils an all new 2.2” all-terrain crawling and rock racing tire from their design department. Ideal for vehicles like the Axial Yeti, the Scorpios, scale looking tread, extra tall size (152mm) and profile, jump out as the most obvious features. Starting by analyzing the tread, the design team focused on a closely knit tread arranging them in a pattern closely resembling a 1:1 scale tire. The padded arrangement of tread makes the tire ideal for transitioning from the hard road to dirt and then into rocky and uneven terrain. Once power is applied to the vehicle, the tread spacing opens up which allows for some deep digging making it a great working tire in dirt and muddy conditions.
Each tread block has finely cut edges with a healthy radius where the block meets the tire body. Each block features slight cuts on top to open up and create some sling space while the outer most lug extends down the sidewall to stiffen the upper carcass and increase the pinch grip. The flexibility of the compound combined with the close arrangement gives the tire a grippy feel but still maintains that all important look.

The large overall height provides plenty of ground clearance for an abundance of terrain and internal grid ribbing help maintain its upright structure during hard loads and on power bursts. The tires include a soft open cell foam insert capable of standing up the super soft compound but flexible enough for sharp terrain. Prepare your rig for competition or appearance with the Scorpios from JConcepts.

Features:

Tight knit design, 1:1 inspired
152mm | 5.98” overall size without insert (and over 6'' with foam!!!)
Super Soft, Green compound
Large sidewall lugs for pinch grip
Open lug cuts and slits for extra edges
Gridded carcass internal ribbing for hard loads
Includes soft, open cell insert
