cboggs' DOMINATOR Bully 2

Rig is looking good. The video is good stuff as well.

How do you like the non-8* steering? It seems like it handled good in the video. But have you gotten much testing in?

I am getting tired of this 8* crap.. I think the switch over might happen sooner than later.

I haven't got to run it to much but I do like it better than the 8* that was on the XR. It digs better and doesn't seem to lift a tire as often as the 8* did, it stays more planted."thumbsup"

That's my biggest problem right now. The lifting is killer. I have gotten to where I can control it most of the time.. It's just annoying. It would be nice to have a rig that I didn't have to worry about that as being a problem.

Keep it up thou. You have a nice thread going here."thumbsup"

They will clear, but the mounting screws on that side of the weight aren't counter sunk so they get in the way. There is also no way to add more weight set up like that so it will be the normal mounting for me.

Thanks for clearing that up Chris.

Normal setup with extra weight will be the ticket with or without the top half...

So I've been sick the last 2 weeks now and we had our club comp last Saturday, I decided to go since it was at a awesome spot and the points race is really tight this year. I shouldn't have gone as I've been paying for it this week. I still managed to get 4th, here's a few pics.

I had to take one for the team.

What "team" are you on????l:ror:

And I must apologize. I keep forgetting to check in this section.

Rig looks like it's running solid. Hope you are finally feeling better.

Here's a pic from our club comp on Saturday. This was right before one of my BR-Mini esc's decided not to work anymore ending my day for placing well.

That is one nice rig. I love those wheels, or lack of. On the knuckle weights. I had to take a dremel and remove a very small amount of material from the slw hub to get them to clear. When I put them on it just barely dragged witness marks onto the flutes. Touched them with a sanding drum and nice and smooth. Hopefully I'll get to crawl with you this summer.

Did you get your body painted yet for yours? I cant wait to see how yours turns out."thumbsup"

Not yet. I'm a pretty simple guy but folks expect it to be wild. We will see.
One week until my season starts. I'm pretty amped about it!
