supposed to be a nice weekend, or at least in the 50's. I might be able to get out next week at lunch time to Palmer Park. need to get some new action shot pics, of my wraith.

Haha, thanks. It's a fun rig, and out of the box flipping the shock mounts and moving the shock location, it crawls pretty well.

Ha. I just got my mip shafts for my mini Xj.
Maybe now it will handle the power without snapping them. Lol
Hopefully I can make it to Palmer park sometime.
Big jeep has death wobble and I'm building a new shop so every spare minute I get I am building.
I still check in to see what's going on. Just don't have much time to make it past the course in the front yard. Lol.
Hope to see some of you again.

My 1:1 XJ has a serious death wobble too..... Swapping out the tie rod today actually

I've dropped about 600$ into te death wobble issue.
Lol
Still have to replace trac bar heims.
Then check control arm bushings.
Been thinking about making it trail only because of DW. Lol

I should have checked trac bar first. Pretty sure that's what the DW is coming from.
Let me know if you want to come out sometime. I know quite a bit about DW now. Sadly.
DW can be caused by a bunch of different things. I can try and help you get through it.
Sometimes it's an easy fix. Sometimes.... It's a "burn it to the ground" type of thing....
Don't know if you have seen my Xj.
It may be a pain in the ass sometimes but I love it.
It's just in time out at the moment. Lol

I used to have DW on my Heep (YJ), especially when I ran the bias ply swampers. I switched to Goodyear MTRs and this helped a lot, but it was still there occassionally. Then I went with hydraulic assist and haven't had anything since! Plus, it's really nice to have the added power when crawling. I know that this isn't the preferred method of fixing DW issues and only masks the real problem, but it's worked out well for me! "thumbsup"

BTW, I FINALLY received my Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster combo after a 2-month wait, so my Wraith is now ready to roll. I still need to paint and install the rear deck cover to hide the ESC, but that can wait. I might try to get over to Palmer Park sometime this weekend to test it out.

I see there are more and more Wraiths popping up down here. We will be having another Scaler Cross Event coming up at Palmer real soon. Hope to see everyone there"thumbsup"
