Well, I got screwed out of compin today due to our lazy work force. I had 2 sets of tires to try out that will have to wait until Monday. Here are pics of my EYD narrowed voodoos with 6" comp cut foams. S front and M rear. 10 and 7/8 up front and 10.5 out back. I will have a few hours Thursday in RI to choose what I'll be running there.

2:15 in the morning and I think I'm finally done with these knuckle weights. It felt more like making my own than installing them. I'm not feeling 100% about them. It's a relatively low amount of weight and I'd love to think I'll be losing that half ring. However all the grinding and fudging that these require doesn't exactly leave you with that flawless uniform fit. I also found it odd that they follow the natural slope of the wraith knuckle at the bottom. Well, as long as my hubs clear the half ring, I guess I have nothing to complain about. I'll loctite the set screws in place tomorrow and call it a build.

I'm only posting this up because I'd mentioned weight earlier in the thread. Now that it's done, this is my rtr weight. This is with the voodovers ( laalaa's ) on. It is also with 2.5oz of weight per knuckle. 3 days until we pack up and head to Rhode Island. Pretty exciting stuff. It will be fun to meet some of the guys I've met on here and chill with the ones I've already met thanks to ECC and BG's.

I've been using it bro. Haven't comped with it but I will say it's more natural for me than the 4pl. I won't sell the futaba in the event it pisses me off this weekend but ya, gonna give it a go:) you ready Kev?

Post worlds update. The truck is dialed in. I couldn't be happier with how it performed. My finish was all lack of wheel time. I'd like to thank 5D for such a nice chassis. Barry for some tuff axles, and anyone who has ever given me pointers and tips. It was a humbling experience to get my back side handed to me by the best in the world. Joel and Jake were helpful, humble and down right amazing to watch!! We can all get frustrated with individuals on a local level or even be bothered by things said on here. However we have a killer international community that makes these events more than worth the price and time!! Thank you to super shafty for the killer trans!!

I wanted to post up a few pics of gates I was surprised by. I watched a few rigs/folks struggle with these guys. My set up handled them pretty well. Like I mentioned before, it was the driver that wasn't ready. It was the first comp on my CCC axles and at no point did I have a doubt. If you look at my finish, you KNOW I had this thing bound and in some crappy spots. The first pic is funny. A little golf clap from my spotter on one of the tougher gates on the course. I'm thrilled with my new equipment and will be sticking with the rig as she sits for quite a while. Want to throw out there that this is in no way a bump to say anything derogatory about any new axles coming out! Just expressing the love I have for what I'm running. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants maintenance free axles.

I've never had a chance to post anything like this. While the group thinned out due to obligations and broken XR parts, I took my first 2nd place today. I'm just loving the changes I've made this season. The dominator is a great chassis. My CCC axles took a whoopin and didn't budge. Lastly, my brood 30t vapors were smooth and simply bad ass. 2nd isn't worth doing back flips over but considering it was against the guy some people thought would win worlds, it feels good!!

Great job there David....... Glad to hear that the truck is working for you. It won't be long and that rig will be an extension of your arm
