Dasher's Frogger build "Boris"

This one has the Hot Racing C Hubs on it and 3 Racing Knuckles and CVD. But, no, I've snapped nothing on it at all. The CVD has Gunnar's pins in it , as do the hexes. The axle also has Gunnar's Beef Toobs in. Hub is clocked, but only a few degrees - so I have drilled it but not noticed a weakness.

I do have the Axial alloy C Hubs on the Poison Dart axles, but they haven't turned a wheel yet.

£150 was a killer price - has that got alloy steering hardware on it too? (I want some to eventually create the AXR-10 axle mod).

Its not got any alloy stuff yet but i will go full VP and then you could have the stock stuff if you like . It has hardened gears and a fair few other things . I've got a thread on MSUK

Hey Jack - thanks for the photo's and the heads up on the meet. Really enjoyed the day out.

The PD is coming along at a pace now - all the electronics have arrived from HH - spent today making up the harness.

One thing that was pretty clear with Boris last week was that the front spring rate was too high - so on the hunt for some Team Associated softs (I have a set but they're on the PD, swapped them over this morning to check and they are a "must". They've gone back on the PD for now though.

Yep, Black Rocks again this Sunday. Was great to meet you Dasher, I've put off the xr10 build now in favour of more shafty action

I'll try to get there Sunday. I've also found some lighter springs, Team Associated 1:18th Rears, Silver, 1.64 Spring Rating. I may still need to go lower but not found any yet. Any suggestions welcome!. The Silver's are #21201, from the #21268 tuning pack.
