Great looking rig 2G"thumbsup". How do you like it compared to your slingshot berg? I wonder if DNA will ever get around to making this chassis in Super size:roll:.

Thanks Nova. I just got the chassis friday so im still putting the 2g tune on it, But so far it will do some crazy stuff"thumbsup". I think when the supers pick back up them DNA will make the Super Mantis.

How much does this set up weigh compared to the DNA Slingshot berg? You had / have the slight shot berg dialed"thumbsup". I am surprised to see you switch to a partial torsion rig.

nice to see another one of these on the forumns :)

do you plan on sticking with the axial shocks?
I changed over to the Losi's but with the internal springs it i feel like I lost to much articulation

The Mantis is 4oz lighter than my slingshot.

Im looking for something new, There's only 9 or 10 rigs just like my slingshot in texas. It does even the playing field and makes us all half to drive good to win"thumbsup". Im not a very good driver so i need great truck and i think i may have a new winner here.

I like the lenght of the axials so i will stick with them. I have the internal spring in them to, From TCS"thumbsup".

Yea I agree the losi ones seem to short. I have the tcs medium springs inside mine too I think that I will be goign back to the axial ones also (I have the STRC aluminum bodies which kind of help with the leakage.

Here are some shots in the back yard, This thing will go up anything.

Very nice looking build on the Mantis. You did a great job and picked top notch components.

Man, I also wish my back yard looked like yours. That is one great place to run out and get some good crawlin' in before it gets dark.

What springs are you using in the Axial shocks, soft, medium, or hard?

Carl

I also have a Mantis but it is keeping my Berg and my wife company while I am on travel in Washington. Hopefully I will get around to working on it a little while I am home this month.
