Do you believe in God,Heaven or Hell?

Ill just add, after looking over websters, for people where 'faith' or 'hope' become incoherent...

Faith-

: strong belief or trust in someone or something

: belief in the existence of God : strong religious feelings or beliefs

: a system of religious beliefs

1a : allegiance to duty or a person : loyalty b (1) : fidelity to one's promises (2) : sincerity of intentions
2a (1) : belief and trust in and loyalty to God (2) : belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion b (1) : firm belief in something for which there is no proof (2) : complete trust
3: something that is believed especially with strong conviction

Hope-

: to want something to happen or be true and think that it could happen or be true

1: to cherish a desire with anticipation <hopes for a promotion>
2archaic : trust
transitive verb
1: to desire with expectation of obtainment
2: to expect with confidence

...I would say luck somes into play...

Luck-

: the things that happen to a person because of chance : the accidental way things happen without being planned

: good fortune : good luck

: success in doing or getting something

1a : a force that brings good fortune or adversity b : the events or circumstances that operate for or against an individual
2: favoring chance

And I KNOW that those all are personal choices.

You missed the boat on my last post you quoted. The only difference between christianitys changing throughout time and the basis for which this country was founded getting changed through time is that we're actually getting to see the latter happen first hand. So for us it offers some understanding. What kind of info will be around 1000yrs from now on what is currently happening is anyones guess, kind of like the bible. Do not think that it is 'just' a lanuage/translation issue.

That wasnt my point though. If someone who knew nothing about the US of A wanted to learn about the founding of this country would you tell them to search through interpretations on the webz or just read the damn document in plain english?

Gotcha. I'd start them off with the Constitution and if they wanted more much, much more info is out there written by others whom were eye witnesses to the events or were involved with it directly.

What is fact and what is accepted as fact isn't always the same.

Epic statement of fact. "thumbsup"

Even our 'interpretations' of things in the past we consider to be 'facts' when in fact most of the time we are using 'faith' instead. I've never been to my Grandma's homestead in the prairie fields, but it's a fact there was one, and it's a fact she lived there. The color of the front door is way less important.

Sometimes I wish we'd get off the details and stick with the major principles of this stuff. Here's some facts. There WAS a homestead. Constantinople created the 'church' as we know it in 392. (it wasn't there before that). The bible is the undisputed most printed book of all time. 'Most' of america believes in 'God'.

Our societies spend so much time arguing over the details we have half our life go by without ever getting to know our neighbors or helping people with their groceries or even holding a door for someone. If it becomes your life's work to argue your point, then you've missed your life and all the life around you.

And most people get so caught up in semantics they miss the boat entirely. The whole bible can pretty much be summed up with the 10 commandments. Live your life according to those simple rules and you'll be a good person.

The Ten Commandments
Maybe that's true if you work from #5 through 10. Those are simple enough.
But to do #1-4 you have to be a full blown God fearing holy man. Those are far from simple. And there's a reason they are before #5-10.
People have been trying to make it simple forever. It's not. Anything that's remotely religious is life changing and complicated, and can mess up stuff if you actually try to live out whatever your religion declares as it's principles.

To quote Gandhi:

"For one man cannot do right in one department of life whilst he is occupied in doing wrong in any other department. Life is one indivisible whole."

– Mahatma Gandhi

“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle.
But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth.
Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.”
― Thích Nhất Hạnh

Great point. Leave 1-4 off and follow the rest and you'll be fine.

God did create the universe and there is a heaven and a hell and they are both very real places
There are no scientific facts to even support the big bang theory and it is call a "theory " because it is kust that

Upgrading an R/C is a never ending process!

The theory aspect of the big bang is indeed a theory and alot of cosmological ideas are still theory, however these theories are models based upon readily observable and measurable elements/gasses/particles/wavelengths of light.

So far there just isn't much as far as agreed upon measurable elements to anything relating to an afterlife, aside from the sociological byproducts of belief causing the interactions between humans... good and bad. Good things can come from the belief of an afterlife, only at the ground floor however. Anything above that, currency is required to keep the lights on

Relativity is also a theory and its been working out pretty well so far. "thumbsup"
