Your arguments against those CT's sound very familiar with those against religion.
Nonetheless, he can "believe" what he wants. ;-)
They are, but the difference is religion is very old and hard to verify facts. Today, anyone with a smartphone and 5 minutes can verify current events and form a reasonably accurate opinion.
theory or not....
speculation or not....
evidence or not....
i stated my opinions based off something that is plausible. Something that `could`in reality happen. Maybe not in my lifetime, but it is a possibility.
people need to open their minds to other things other then what is right in their face directly (or) they strongly believe in.
another one i crossed is where the Obama administration and Bush are under a world wide warrant for their arrest.
is it true...no idea!!
but again, the possibility of a secret organization such as the Illuminaty or New world order is something to think of. If in the past 6 million Jews were rounded up like sheep and executed like cattle, this may very well happen when a dictator is elected.
when we speak GOD we also have WAR hand in hand next to it, as it always has revolved around religion since centuries ago.

Anything is plausible, but at the same time an inability to disprove does not mean it is automatically likely and something to spend time defending.
It's plausible that I come to your house once every 6 months and let a half a psi of air out of each one of your tires, but its not very fawkin' likely, even though you can't prove one way or the other whether or not I actually do.
Again I point to ignorance (willful or not) as the driving force for most conspiracy theories. Our governmental system of checks and balances and public voting will not allow a "dictator" to be elected, nor hold office for very long. Our system may be misfiring here and there, but it is nowhere near broken enough for anything like that to happen.
If you see or hear or read anything that causes you for even a second to consider it to be truth, research it. Verify the facts presented to you. Don't just read things that reinforce your own beliefs, read things that go against them. The truth is not what you want it to be, the truth is what the facts support.
Everyone should have an open mind, but having an open mind does not mean you should accept everything that comes into it.
