Do you believe in God,Heaven or Hell?

Yes, The Nasa did lie I believe they never been the moon.
Of course, because the Earth is flat and we can't get to the Moon. :lmao:
However I am not here for debating.
Why not? I'm just a noob with some questions. Someone with an all-knowing-all-powerful deity (allegedly) riding shotgun in their life should be able to stick-handle my questions with ease.
I am here to sharing love and the Gospel ( The good news of Jesus Christ ) ;-)

What is this 'good news'? That the vast majority of those who have ever lived will go to 'hell' for reasons beyond their control?

This is "good"?

So you won't believe that something that happened in the last 50 years actually happened. Even though there are people who were involved or even better, 12 people who actually stood on the moon that will attest to it.
But you will believe a book that was written when the closest thing to the study of science was philosophy, and was written by around 40 different authors over a period of around 1,500 years.
That just shows how gullible you are. :lmao:

Historically... the easiest example would be the worldwide flood. If it were true, there would be no records existing from before that time. But there are. Point of fact: the Japanese civilization is know to have existed since at least 10,000 years prior to the flood was thought to have taken place (6000-4000 bc). They have no written record of such an event, and there is no genealogical break in their heritage. If there was a flood, whoever was there would have obviously been washed away and eventually replaced with a different line of people.

Scientifically, it's hard to pick one that hasn't been thoroughly hashed out to death. The flood is again an easy target. Creation of man is another. If theories and their supporting data were books, evolution would be a library. Creation would be an easy weekend read.

I would encourage you to do a little reading if you are actually seeking truth: https://www.google.com.pk/search?safe=active&q=flood+:site:icr.org

I will happily and un-apologetically mock the Abrahamic god all day long... All religions are mythology to me, and gods are simply characters in their respective stories. I mock them all.

I wouldn't recommend it; even in the movies, mocking deity rarely ends well. ;)

God, as his actions are written, behaves highly amoral and at time highly immoral. Consider Job. What kind of god would put his most faithful servant through such an unimaginable amount of misery just to win a bet?

The kind that deserves the glory/honor afforded Him by His servant remaining faithful through it all. BTW it wasn't a bet, it was a challenge of glory/honor.

Each tree is known by it's fruit (Luke 6:44), and, a good tree can not bear bad fruit (Mat 7:18 ). By all biblical qualifications, we are bad fruit. Since we are made in Gods image (Gen 1:27), logic follows that God is not as good as is claimed.

If you read the context in Genesis it becomes clear that we were made good, but that by our own free will we chose evil & rebellion instead.

I don't know, and I don't believe that there is any way to know. Such a thing would be many orders of magnitude beyond our ability to comprehend and correctly recognize. Such a thing could not be contained and adequately described on paper.

That's why God dumbed it down for us in the Bible. ;)

You can keep your creationist myth. They are only interested in finding truth in the bible.

I wouldn't recommend it; even in the movies, mocking deity rarely ends well. ;)

Then it's a good thing that this isn't a movie and gods don't exist...

The kind that deserves the glory/honor afforded Him by His servant remaining faithful through it all. BTW it wasn't a bet, it was a challenge of glory/honor.

A challenge of glory/honor for whom?

If you read the context in Genesis it becomes clear that we were made good, but that by our own free will we chose evil & rebellion instead.

You're not getting it. I don't care about the stories, but even so, God being all-knowing would have known that was going to happen.

That's why God dumbed it down for us in the Bible. ;)

He did a bad job.

God is the sum of all things.

Religion (Christianity) is a man-made construct used to control the masses through fear of damnation and hope of redemption.

So to answer the OG question; Yes I believe in God as I described... not an entity with personality but as the Source.

You could say I believe in Heaven but only as the Source... the pure love of the Universe... not some place you earn your way into by good deeds.
I believe we all return to the Source, to the love of God when these bodies die no matter how you behave in this world... like a drop of water falling into the ocean.

Hell, again no. Not as some place as punishment...
Perhaps as a Hell on Earth by not letting go of pain.

I love this! What tribe are you?

God and other gizmo stuff exist within the boundaries of something called 'human brain'.Beyond that, the universe gives no fook about what some biological beings in some galaxy think. The universe is going to continue its own way.

One day, our body will turn to dust. Its a short window called 'life',.....no time for fairytales.

I am not looking for 'truth' as you use the word here; what I seek is an accurate description of reality.
I wouldn't recommend it; even in the movies, mocking deity rarely ends well. ;)
Sure, but in reality blasphemy would appear to be a victimless crime. :)

Let me get this clear; this is in reference to two alleged individuals that - according to our current scientific knowledge - did not exist, but if they had existed they would have had first-hand evidence of the existence of their god, and it was explained to them what they were up against, what their options were, what they were giving up, all while having an eternal flame-thrower pointed at them... and they chose to give it up and go with the flamethrower?

I think you are still unclear on the concept of 'free will".
That's why God dumbed it down for us in the Bible. ;)
So 'dumb' apparently, that there is no position, however contrary to another, that someone cannot find support for in the bible.

Continually referring to the bible as evidence of the existence of God is ridiculous since it's clear it follows a pattern of circular reasoning, i.e;

The Bible tells us that it is the word of God.

The word of God is infallible.

Therefore the Bible is infallible.

And as such, the Bible must be the word of God.

The word of God is infallible.

Therefore the Bible is infallible.

and so on....

I'm thinking the same about Bitcoin. The only people it means anything to are people invested in it.

Bitcoin is increasing in value because people are buying it.

People are buying Bitcoin because it's increasing in value.

We're all f**ked. Just enjoy your life while you've got it. We'll find out if God, Heaven and Hell are real when we're dead.

Crypto currency is ridiculous. Its too risky unless majority of people alive, start using it.

I would rather buy gold.

This says it all really.

No checkmate. Checkmate means you win. You haven't won anything. You have your beliefs, and others have theirs. Period.

Until you prove your god, my position is correct so please, prove me wrong, you will win a nobel prize.

Hundreds of thousands of years of modern humans on earth, thousands of years of recorded history, millions of god claims and not one shred of evidence.
