Last night I put in my per-order for the Seld-M-Bend rear straight axles. Looks like it will be awhile before I get them but I'll be patient!
Hey Harley how would you rate your move to the big bores on the V4.Dont know if I expect to much but the shocks feels like where I am lacking.

Try speeding them up with thinner oil."thumbsup"
Or drill out the pistons a little more.
Any pics of how much grease you need to apply? I just was woundering, as it seems in his pics that he put an awful lot in the AX axles pictured. From my opinion only, I thought stickier grease didnt need to be packed in the gearcases. Idk, I could be wrong.
Installed the Bigron battery mount tonight. Works well with the MaxAmps 430's 8)

i know this is going way back but i decided to fab up a behind the motor battery mount myself. looking at the pics it seems like the battery/mount would be come hang points given they sit lower than the lower links. has it caused you any issues? i would have gone with a mount on top of the axle like everyone else but i'm still running stock c's and knuckles so there isn't enough space.
I ran a top mount first but have preferred this since. I have hung on the back of it before when in reverse but 99.9% of the time it's been awesome. I wouldn't change it.
It's just grease, don't over think something simple. 8) Just coat the gears well like with any grease.
Too much grease in the gearcases make the grease ooz out of the inspection cover. Seen it with the auto grease I used to use and didnt slather it on like mayo on a whopper. I think applying it just to the teeth is the best method, but to say not to overthink grease is funny. Team3six and Gearscience had put alot of thought into their greases."thumbsup"
Mine was tight, and yes you dont need to be smart to apply grease.Tighten the inspection cover
They have definitely done work but it's not a redefining science. It works great but you don't need a Degree to apply it. Just throw some in there and call it good.
